Thank you, I wont buy anything form BW unless they remove the last 5 min and pu tin 5-15 min of an ending that makes sense based on the story they had started.

Then poof no more Bioware no more games like Mass Effect or Dragon Age (Or even decent Star Wars games). Yes, real effective. Take out the giant only for him to collapse on his own forces.Blazerer wrote...
Another thing, EA has been on the decline for years. Losing respect left and right, being less and less the face of progressive gaming. No matter how big a company, stir up enough **** and companies WILL topple

If ME and DA come out as crap, what does it matter? I'd rather destroy a franchise that's going crappy, and encourage competitors to do well, than keep a franchise even after it goes mediocre, and encourage competitors to be equally apathetic towards fans.

You expect everyone to believe you wont buy EA/Bioware products in the future when you guys can't even leave Bioware's forums? The more noise you make, the more you put Bioware and EA on the front page of articles. free press is always good press.
You know how many people petitions Starbucks for not believing in gay marriage? You know how many people petitioned walmart for being christian? You know how many people petitioned stores and brands for being against the people in SOPA? A lot. Do you know what it accomplished against these companies? nothing. they moved on, made millions and those people who were so angry? caved in and still bought these things eventually because frankly, there is never enough to make a dent.
Thank you, your feedback is important to us. We are listening.

That is your opinion and not everyone thinks that the franchises are turning into crap. You are also reducing the chance for Bioware introducing a new franchise that could just be as great as ME and DA started as.The_Crazy_Hand wrote...

That is the thing I don't understand with all these peeps who are saying they don't support Bioware anymore but yet they still come on their own forums/threads/boards to complain about them...Dendio1 wrote...

this movement is getting ridiculous, I hate the nonsensical ending and no amount of FMV will make sense out of it, but I think this is going too far.

BioWare has made it abundantly clear that they don't need me or any of the customers that feel like they got an inferior product. No problem. I don't need them either.

Mass Effect 3 is considered a good game. You are letting the 5-10 minute ending judge the entire game? In a game stand point its a good game. In the story stand point it is still a good story game. They are still making good games.dbt-kenny wrote...

The old saying go's you can do 100 things right but people always remember 1 thing you do wrong..and that ending was a BIG wrong.

Eh, small wrongs usually go forgotten actually. Tali's face comes to mind. It was stupid, but people won't make much out of it.

to be honest...they showed to be on the wrong path earlier with DA2.. a game that already defined a different bioware... more action oriented, less RPG minded and with no real choices....

This is true, however, if you keep purchasing crap from them, do you honestly think they will produce quality in spite of this? Look at the modern Sonic games, Sonic fanboys buy anything Sonic, even if they think it sucks. So Sega doesn't bother with quality, because they don't have to.
Metroid went this way as well in recent years (though on a much milder scale).

you beat me to it, but indeed. Dragon Age 2 proved VERY well that they were on the wrong track. Cop/pasting entire zones. nothing like the storyline from the original. and Mass effect 3 is no different. Because of the ending it's grealty overlooked.
but where
- is half of the dialogue? Mass effect 2 had way more interaction, both with squadmates as with people you meet along the road.
- are my choices? many time the wheel was gone in conversations, leaving me watching a cutscene instead of having a conversation.
and many more like this.
summary: they ****ed up dragon age 2 before, and apperently we didn't make a good enough statement there that they did it again with ME3

Seriously people, if you continue to buy Bioware games when they start lowering the quality, then you are part of the problem. Why make better games when you can make the same amount of money with less effort? I have yet to see a counter to this point.
Saying your unhappy doesn't mean anything to a company, they only want your money. Best thing you can do for yourself and the video game industry as a whole is to not buy at least one game that you normally would from EA/Bioware. You don't have to swear them out for eternity like some but you do have to hold back at least a little so their lack of income shows they made a mistake.

A very good statement, though I don't entirely agree. I wish there had been more interaction available instead of just listening to one scripted line of dialogue. However I still feel that Mass Effect 3 was an amazing game in spite of that.
But the ending is the one thing that ruins it all, in fact it ruins the entire trilogy for me. I tried replaying ME1 when I realized that I just didn't want to play, because I knew nothing I did would really matter. Everything I fought for, freeing the Rachni, destroying the Collector Base, keeping my squad alive through the suicide mission, none of it mattered because it all led to that same ten-minute atrocity. No matter how many people I save or leave to die, it all feels pointless knowing what looms on the horizon.
One of Mass Effect's strongest theme's has always been hope, and knowing what inevitably looms at the end takes all hope away from us. Of course, that's just one reason the ending ruined the game, but I feel it's the most important.
