I still hold some love for Bioware. It's like family, you can love some of them but hate them at the same time.

I love the fact that we have a German part to our group. It would be ammazing if we got more groups in other places. An Italian, Japan, French collective would be cool. It would show Bioware that we are a united front and we are peacefully asking for a change.

We are still in our fledgeling stages, too, and we already have a German division.

Good work, Mack!  (He is our German Divsions Leader)

Imagine where this will be in a week.  Two weeks.  A MONTH?

I wouldn't be surprised if we gain media attention.  I fully intend to.  I also intend on taking this all the way to a full-blown BOYCOT EA movement online.

You should make this into a boycott EA movement. You will gain massive amounts of support from all around the internet. I don't know of a single gamer that like EA. So I say go for it! It can only help our movement.Posted ImageIt is your choice in the end though.

Also just want to thank you again for creating this. It's nice to have a place to go and talk with like-minded people. If we talked about this sort of thing on any other thread, we'd likely be yelled at for "trolling"

DA2 was the warning, ME3 was the proof. Both pre-ordered, both failed to reach expectations.

Never again. No "third time lucky". Simple as that.

I vote with my wallet and there's other vastly superior games developers and producers, far more worthy of supporting with my hard earned cash.

Am I surprised how things have ultimately turned out with Bioware? Not in the slightest. Of course I don't like what's happened, but EA have shown time and again, how they've managed to destroy great creativity at numerous games studios, because of poor business decisions and an overbearing influence on things.

There doesn't need to be any radical movement or online campaign. EA will ultimately reap what they've sown. Retail prices for ME3 have plummeted, as have EA share values. Other developers and publishers are producing better quality products and offering better value for money.

they are on the decline indeed, however that doesn't mean we shouldn't still try to make our point and prove them we will not be trifled with. so if you support us please put the banner in your signature, it will be highly appreciated ^^

The tone in this thread started to become slightly aggressive, withholding your money is a voluntary act and the banners a show of hands, if others wish to continue their purchase of products from Bioware then they are satisfied customers, and that is their right as consumers.

Agreed, hold the wallet, but don't be an **** about it.  That'll get us nowhere.

Everyone in the movement was very civil so far. It's EA supporters and pro-enders who come here and trolling.

Most people here are also a member of the retake movement. This has been going on for a month now, and most people are getting tired. They've lashed out, pointed fingers, and now most of the anger is gone, but the feeling of dissapointment and betrayal is still fresh in our minds.

We won't forget this feeling, and that's why this movement can succeed. This isn't another childish boycott called at the drop of a hat, this is something that's been building since Dragon Age II. We're all tired of being treated like Children by Bioware, who call us entitled, and even more tired of EA treating us like trash. We are their customers, we are what allow them to continue to make great games. It's time they learned that treating us the way they have and failing to hear us will have consequences. And I'm glad that people here can do this in a civil manner.

I actually think the best "offensive" is indifference. If a company is indifferent to your views, no amount of campaigning will make any difference to them.

Be indifferent to their products, without any fanfare, fist waving or campaigns, they feel it where it hurts the most... profits.

They ask for "opinions", they get them by the bucket load, yet fail to take any real interest, if it's critical in any way. They respond to the "opinions" that match their own. They respond more to the "professional" journalistic "reviews" (sponsored canned applause) and selected pom-pom waving of "happy clappy fans" who hang on every word they say.

Why waste valuable effort and time campaigning. Just simply be indifferent to their products, don't place pre-orders, or simply don't buy them at all.

At some point, they either take the genuine criticisms on board, or they don't. They have no "campaign" or "crusade" to point towards as an excuse. Just simple lack of sales.

They won't remain indifferent for long.

As a rule I am not a joiner in movements such as this. And although I agree with the premise I cannot just drop Bioware out of hand because of one or two releases. However, I will look elsewhere first for games, placing Bioware next to last and EA at the very bottom of my purchase priorities.

I have alredy decided not to purchase the last two expansion packs of The Sims 3 (up to this point I have ALL of the orignial Sims, Sims 2 and all but the last two expansions for The Sims 3), nor buy anymore NCAA Football releases (a game I very much enjoyed over the years).

Over the past year, if the letters "EA" are on the package, I have found myself moving on to something else. Buying the ME series was strictly because Bioware was on the package, in spite of probable negative EA influence.

In short, I support the movement in theory and will be in the background showing my indifference, (as stated by heathxxx) towards both compaines. I hope you make a difference.

Lets have some fun with the EA supporters :)

There are many that wait a couple of weeks when a new game is released, for a simple reason, it gets cheaper
So, if you are such an EA fan, why don`t you buy the game on release game for bloated price? aren`t you the super holy supporter?

So who ever falls under this catagory and is a defending EA fan, your actively participating to give EA less money to save a few bucks your self :)

I'm not sure that's good idea we don't wanna instigate people into a fight. We just want Bioware/EA to understand were boycott them until they start listening to there fans. But we always appreciate any ideas to keep them coming people.

Hold the wallet not another dime.

Bioware always uses artistic integrity as a shield to defend themselves to not give the multiple endings to the ME3. I am tired with this excuse. What I hope is the multiple endings as Bioware promised before the release. However, they are simply refuse the request from the fans by all means. Now, it is about time to let them face the consequent due to not listening the fans. I will not buy any game from Bioware and encourage my friends to do so. Time and money are in our side. However, time and money are the luxury Bioware do not have. Some people might say this is a childish action. I disagree with them because this is how the economic is work. If a company ignore the needs of their customers, it is the point that company bring the destruction to itself.

Respectfully, I agree Bioware has made mistakes with rushing Mass Effect 3 and the ending. However, though I understand why you would want to do this, I feel it would only make the situation worse. Less resources & increased time restraints = poorer quality content.

I think Bioware has already gotten the message that we're upset, I believe this is only rubbing salt in the wounds.

Just checked to see the latest prices for ME3 on-line are and they are
already down to £23 already. That is an incredibly bad sign for a game
that is barely a month old

I am sure that Bioware get message from the protest otherwise Bioware will not announce the release of extended cut DLC. However, Bioware did not take the protest serious enough. My personal interpertation to the last announcement of Bioware is that Bioware will try to work out the mess left behind the starchild ending. The truly vaule of the ME series is the multiple endings reflected the decision you made. Bioware just abandon this core value of ME series in the last five minutes of the ME3; Bioware have to pay for this mistake. This is the reason why I will not buy any game from Bioware and encourage my friends to do so. I do not mind make Bioware to be next Origins Systems.

they didn't. what they did do:
- make a fake topic to let people voice their opinions, only to ignore it.
- refuse any public statements on the rage, only via backdoor politics.
- refuse to answer questions at PAX that have to do with the ending
- insulted their fans time and time again (mocking at PAX, the 'hidden message' in the upcoming MP DLC)

Personally, I'm done with Bioware. They've had hundreds op opportunities over the last months to fix this. all they needed to say was that they'd reqrite the ending but it might take several months. done.
Bioware saved, fans feel they are taken seriously, everyone happy. Instead they opted for secrecy, deceit and downright childish behaviour.
