NEW MOVEMENT: (with)HOLD THE WALLET!

For me to be happy Bioware needs to do a few things.
1. Bring back the changed cutscene from the Final Hours of ME3 where Shep looks at your squddies after Harbinger's blast and then Shep should call in Joker to pick them up(with much arguing on his part).
2. Add in investigate options to the dialogue with Starchild, don't keep it "high level" like Walters decided to do the first time around.
3. Allow for my choices to become clear(for real this time) in a post-ending epilogue cutscene.
and finally
4. Give me something more for hope of faster FTL than stargazer's colony being stranded for so long that Shepard passes into legend because of the lack of FTL.
These are the things I need to be able to consider it a satisfying close to the series, I don't need indoctrination(which after that would just be a mulligan to create a new ending, and since you all claim they're incompetent I really doubt you've realized that yet), I don't need my little blue babies(although if you wanna put those in I would be much obliged) and I don't need a particularly happy ending(although if I go in with over 7k war assets you guys should really just throw me a bone and let me survive any ending tbh).
These are my "demands" Bioware, and I guarantee you that if these come to pass most will just shut up, even if they'd like to think otherwise.

So true, though in my case, I stopped paying attention to the professional level reviewers a long time ago. They don't even bother to consider how much they enjoy the games, it's just bull**** like graphics and sound quality.

Already well known, likely already seen by Bioware anyway. Still, a good video and I agree with all if not most of the points.

I wonder if we should try to have a chat with Bioware. You know, tell them we want to have a serious talk with them. We keep it civil and they do to. None of this PR run around crap.
Everyone's been trying that for a long time, but it's like how Bioware said they wouldn't be talking about the ending at PAX east, they're just dodging the issue for as long as they can.

For anyone saying why do this?
This is why!
This is how the Star Child utterly makes Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 useless.
Rememberhe is the KING of the reapers and is on the Citadel. He controls them.
Why would he need Sovereign to come to the Citadel to activate the
Citadel portal to bring in the other Reapers? He wouldn't! He controls
it too, he brought it to the EARTH! He moved the freaking thing. So,
yeah his existance destroys all logica after half way through ME 1.
Okyou Sci-Fi people that still may not get the degree of how destructive
the Star Child angle really is if you just look at the endings.
Imagine Star Trek for a moment, doesn't matter if it's Captain Kirk, Picard,
etc... The Borg are trying to destroy the earth, it's the last stand of
humanity. The series pain stakingly introduced us to the Borg and what
their REAL mission is, to assimilate everyone. AKA the Reapers. Now a
Pink Space Pony pops up at the pinacle of the finale battle and says
the Borg bring WAR and death to you to keep you from killing each other,
and then your own Borg creations kill you so I sent my Borg creations
to kill you first. To save other organic life, because BORG life is
superior anyways...
You say to Pink Space Pony "Why not have
your BORG destroy our BORG after our BORG kill us to keep them from
killing other life, but while still weaker than your BORG?" Uh....
stop looking behind the curtain of the all powerful OZ kid.
Your other choice is to turn all organics into BORG and there will be no more
organic life ever. Yes, you Captain get to commit galactic genocide to
all living things against their will. You're such a good guy if you do
this Captain!
Your last choice is to destroy my Borg and all of your AI friends, but your Borg will kill you and take our plac eventually.
You say "Ok so you are going to destroy all "software" in the universe,
because our friends the GETH are just software and make ALL ships
crippled in the process and set us back to the industrial age because all computer run on software?"
Pink Space Pony "Uh well, no your computer softare isn't going to be harmed nor your electronic equipment."
You say "What's the difference all of it is made up of code?"
Pink Space Pony says "Uh.... kid I told you to stop looking behind the curtain of the all powerful Oz"
There is NO WAY they can ever make the Star Child or the 3 choices make any
sense at all. It's illogical cannon breaking rubbish.
Oh and one more EASY one is this. Star Child says this has never happend before,
not sure what to do etc... BUT I magically have 3 choices construced
behind me. Go left and grab the handles... don't ask why they are
there, go up the ramp in the middle, or use you pistol to shoot this
magical spot that blows up the reapers... Yeah Star Kid just makes those
metal constructed areas up in 1 split second...
They obliterated common sense and are retconing the Mass Effect story like a comic book would. Basically, saying all that happened in the past didn't happen or isn't what really happened, but making it clear it didn't matter. In this case ME 1 and ME 2. I refuse to TRUST them from this point on. No more purchases Bioware.
Add to it what Drew did to Reven in SWTOR... BS comic book retcon garbage will not be tolerated.

Anyhow, now I have the whole ME series, and I've played it several hundreds of hours (you must think I'm crazy LOL but I am disabled, pretty much bedridden all the time, and playing games is a good way for me not to have to think of the pain all the time)
I am all for this so thank you, Mastermadskills!
Actually, I did, after 3 weeks, do a second play-through - and I was, as I was to begin with, not very pleased about several things in ME3 (so I'm not just disappointed in the ABC/RGB-aka-Lost-endings) but enough about that now! (blushing)
After that 2nd playthrough, I started to laugh, sarcastically, at myself and at BioWare/EA, because there was this one song that got stuck in my head, and I wanted to post it.
I figured this is the thread to post it (please,let me know if that is inappropriate). I just couldn't help laugh, due to the lyrics in the text.
So (after all my rambling...) here is a youtube link to the song:
(Please, BioWare, have some self-irony, too. Everyone can make mistakes, and we can all at least try to correct them)
I make comments in the lyrics, to kind of try to clarify what I mean by this song. However, the song pretty much speaks for itself, w/o the change of lyrics, imho.
The song is an old Dr. Hook song "The Millionaire", and BioWare is being referred to as "I" in these, my kind of *cough**cough* adjusted, lyrics - with one exception[1]: :innocent:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(BioWare and all fans, myself included, are saying):
Before we begin,
Thank you!
Thank you, oh thank you, thank you!
Thank you!
(BW stating:)
I'm not a bad person
(We know)
I don't drink, and I don't kill.
I've got no evil habits
And I probably never will.
(N.B. The above does not necessarily apply to Shepard him/herself though)
I don't sing like Elvis Presley,
I can't dance like Fred Astaire. (Well, that certainly goes for Shepard at least)
But there's one thing in my favor
(What?)
Hee hee ha; I'm a millionaire!
(That's beautiful (Art)!)
CHORUS:
And I've got more money,
Than a horse has hairs.
Cause
(BioWare's, as well as gamer's, wishes could come true, I believe/think/not sure, since BW apparently (or; maybe?) needed funds to complete this game series, and thereby satisfy gamers - but I am not too familiar with that event)
But havin' all this money,
Is gonna bring M.E. down.
If you ain't with me
To help M.E. spread it around!
[1] I could get myself a nose job,
I could
But I'll never be Robert Redford,
Cause I'm much to fond of beer
(This, however, may very well apply to "the" Shepard)
Please (!) don't misunderstand ME3
It's not love I'm trying to buy
It's just I got all this here money,
And I'm a pretty ugly guy
(referring to BW's promises that have made many fans upset)
CHORUS
I don't mind if you love M.E. for my money,
If you love M.E. for whatever else I've got.
But, except in all this stuff, I'm alone in Fort Knox,
I don't guess I'm doing all that hot!?!
But I've got more money,
Than a horse has hairs.
Cause
But havin' all this money,
Is gonna bring M.E. down.
If you ain't with me
To help M.E. spread it around!
(No sarcasm - it's true. BW has listened (before at least) and it is up to the gamers=sells if it will continue to live on/sell for a long time)
Money, money, money, money................
Hey you! Come here, baby.
Stop crying!
Put a quarter in the jukebox - ha ha ha ha ha ha.............
(and this is the part where I am being self-ironic as well, laughing at myself for my engagement/disappointment)
Money - Money……..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, thank you Mastermadskills!
PS. I cannot find a preview-button before posting, so I don't know how this will turn out. I will probably have to edit a lot.
PPS. (yes, a lot of editing. I'm not used to this kind of board) I made a smaller picture of the Hold The Wallet. I hope that's OK with you? (oh, yay, I managed to get it clickable too)

Haha! That is such a great saying, and especially for "the" Shepard
@oldSwede you literally made me laugh out loud, great lyrics
and it's extremely accurate to boot
Oh, teehee, thank you
I laughed so much when I, for no apparent reason, started to sing that song, right after my 2nd playthrough. I actually made this post (in a text app) 3 days ago, when I signed up - but I didn't want to just start a new thread, just like that (new, and all).
And then I haven't been able to post - so imagine my surprise (and smile becuase of the fitting song) when I saw this thread! It was just perfect, and this is what I've been thinking all along, so I signed up to the group immideately.
I'm with you on this - it's the money (="the art" *wink wink*) that speaks, and I have seen prices drop almost right away, for ME3, here in Sweden.
(this is turning into an incredible long post, excuse me)

Voted on the polls, and I honestly can say that the reason why the ending was so bad makes so much sense now that I've read that.
An ending to any game, especially the final of a hugely popular trilogy, should always be put through some serious internal reviews, and from what I've read, that wasn't allowed, which is why we've ended up with the generic, aweful endings we've got that don't show ANYTHING we did in the build up to it.
Bioware needs to do the following now, otherwise this is just going to get messier and messier:
1) Fire Casey Hudson - his actions in the past few days, and with the fiasco his clear "glory hunting" has caused has done Bioware more damage than anyone else could have done without trying.
2) Appologies to the fans - Needless to say, Bioware have got to draw a line in the sand, raise their hands, and say "We've screwed up, we're sorry."
3) Endings and future DLC - If Bioware are going to have any hope in salvaging this mess, They need to release new endings for all (without a 2 year time limit to being free), and should probably make sure that all future DLC for ME3 is free, as an extra "we're sorry" to the fans they've screwed over.
