I'm with you guys! As someone that spends a lot on games....I won't be buying from Bioware or EA again until this mess is sorted.

Darn right. Glad to have you aboard, and welcome to the movement. Hold The Wallet.

Well said, let's all keep ourselves under control. No reason to give others an actual reason to hate us. Even if they belittle our movement, we know that what we're doing has real meaning. Keep strong everyone, and Hold The Wallet.

Indeed, even if it changes nothing, at least it hits them where it hurts.

At least you retakers have an actual outlet that matters for your stuff now. You may still be entitled brats, but at least you're keeping your demands civil.

I wish you luck, you're going to need it.

Suppose that each member decided to boycot two future games for Bioware, with each game costing $70.00.

TOTAL LOST REVENUE TO BIOWARE/EA:

($140 x 600members) =    This movement, in four days of existence, has the potential to cost Bioware $84,000 bucks!

You really think people would hold up to that?

Also I don't understand what the need is for a new movement. You can't play nice with the old one?

And what occurs in 4 days?????

To the criticism:  EA has done much more than make us "entitled brats".  There is a littany of charges agains the EA name, and if I took the time to list them it would take up severa pages.

To the compliment:  Thank you.  We are striving as a group to keep our demands and organization civil, professional, and intelligent.

I'm sorry, I didn't clarify.  Our movement here has only been in existence for four days, and has totaled nearly 600 members.

I grant you that the number of lost future revenue is probably lower than that.  I'm a reasonable person and what you say is logical.

As for the needing a new movement:  We have tried everything.  Everyone has tried to give Bioware feedback, yet they still continue to ignore us and thumb their noses at us.  I created ths movement because it holds the most potential, out of everything, to get Bioware to pay attention.

Two is a conservative estimate for a blanket boycott.  It certainly accounts for the tendency people have to grow lax over time.

As this movement is likely to act as a bonding element to help alleviate the tendency, it is likely the average will be much higher.  Sure, not everyone will hold on forever, even with such a bonding mechanism, but it'll hold long enough to do some real damage.

Hey guys, is it bad that I bought a copy of this game for 360, PS3 and PC? I'll probably get DLC for all three platforms as well.

"Ignore"
may have been the wrong word.  Shanking us in favor of "artistic vision" is accurate though.

If you watched the PAX pannel and the blanket-ban of all things ending related...

Yes, I and hundreds of others believe that they are!

It wasn't the crappy endings that did it for me, but the overly defensive response and childish inability to admit a mistake. It is the job of artists and writers to receive criticism and respond to it, and not by all that "we are listening" junk, but by actually making the changes. This criticism and feedback should have happened before the game's release.

I mean really.. "Even more closure" ... are you serious?

By the way, I very much support the idea of a boycott, but putting "Founder of HTW" everywhere makes it seem like you just want the attention, just saying. Maybe that's not true, but that's the message.

This

Well, that and the fact that I firmly believe that they are setting a bad precedent with this "artistic" crap.

Right, so taking feedback and releasing a free extended ending isn't enough?

Seriously people need to get over it. Also, keep your money, at least there won't be as many "entitled" people whining when the next little thing that doesn't please them happens.

I traded in ME1-3, DAO, DA2, Jade Empire and KOTOR to a local used game store. I am using the credit to get The WItcher 2 for xbox 360. I will never again buy a bioware made game.

I love sheep like you. Bioware and certain video game sites toss out the word "entitled", and you just parrot it back. You can't think for yourself.

Diab2blo, we look at it this way:

The free extended ending is a step in the right direction, but we are still very skeptical.  If it is a string of pretty pictures with text overlay explaining what happened, then we won't stand for it.

All indications are that this will be what they will do, unfortunately.

Please: edit the sheep comment and can't think for yourself out of your post.  This is an INTELLIGENT movement, and not one of hate or threats.

Thank you.

Just because something is free does not mean it is an act of goodwill.  Air dropping  sawblades on hungry people for free surely isn't a good thing, right?

Yeah, it's not anything that serious, but still.  Polishing a turd for free is by far not an act of charity or "listening".

You mean the one where 10 random people got to rush the mic and asked entirely stupid questions where people on this very forum stated that they were plants, it was Bioware controlling the Panel and whatever else people felt like indulging themselves in. The very one that had the best coverage from Koataku?

That one. Where fan speculation made up 90% of the postings afterwards about how the fans got controlled by Bioware. The panel where they ........... shock and suprise ............ actually did discuss the ending and the Extended Cut DLC?

Because if that's the one then abso-abso-lutly they blanket banned every aspect of all things ending related.

                                                                                General reminder:

This is a movement of intelligence, reason, and peaceful demonstration by voting with our wallets.  It is not a hate movement, and to go in such a direction would destroy all that we are working to achieve here.

If someone posts who disagrees, explain to them our thinking as a movement and encourage good-fellowship between posters of all views on this matter.

Thank you,
MasterMadSkills, Founder of HTW Movement.
