I went to Walmart and Gamestop and they each had a 3 by 5 chunck of shelf space that was nothing but ME3s (brand new).

I want to thank the people that were being civil in their posts today. I know its not easy to remain civil, but you gus did. So thank you.

I would like anyone that has a complaint of Trolling or uncivilized retorts to let me know. You can send it to me in the email along will the persons name, and I will pass it on to the Bioware crew. I'll let them decide what to do, and i'll let you know when i send it to them and if they contact me about it.

Indeed, we're all here because we are frustrated, so we will all have trouble remaining civil (hell, I know I have in the past), but we must.
Not doing so will only be destructive.

Hold The Wallet.

I was wondering if anyone would like a smaller version of the hold the wallet signature banner. I noticed that some of the people who use them seem to have some other stuff written there, and a smaller size could make more room down there.

Also, I wanted to run this by Mastermadskills and see how he feels about this.

Talking to some friends earlier today. Made their day when I mentioned the group, and that people are actually doing something about this. It's empowering knowing that we're taking the power back into the hands of consumers.

Hold The Wallet.

I think this makes more sense. Well ok hold the line made sense too. But this is what I always do when I don't like something.

Excellent idea.

The banner has a tendency to get slightly cut-off if more than two lines of text are added.

There are so many movements and splinter-movements at this point, that it is getting hard to keep track. In the end, this is the only movement that is guaranteed to get results, so...hi and stuff.

Okay, I have really crappy skills in editing but I managed two different edits to reduce the banners size, one keeps the same height but smaller width, and one is just smaller all around.

It would help if we could get someone with talent to try and do a better job than I did, but that's just me.

I just popped into the billboard thread, and lets all agree here not to do something that makes a large volume of people decide to jump ship from our movement, keep our tactics simple and not need large sums of money investment to implement.

This will be my last post on this forum. I don't want to be in this forum anymore. BW/EA's attitude sickens me. I'm not even ashamed to tell them I'll go pirate only for their game.

A splinter-movement (i think?) is trying to buy billboard space around Bioware's offices.

Oh, that.  Hmmm.  Not sure what to think about that idea, tbh.

This, http://social.biowar.../index/11229139

Which has spawned this and this,

http://social.biowar.../index/11237636

http://social.biowar.../index/11236653

The billboard idea, while a great PR campaign, struck a cord with many as being an extremly costly project with a very negative possibility for the movement. It has caused massive, or at least noticable, rank desertion of the retake movement, and is causing almost as much of a splinter as the extended cut did.

The message is clear, there is a line in which enough money is proposed to be spent on something that it becomes incredible unpopular. There also appears to be a large upset over the two groups retake mass effect and hold the line agreeing to become one orginization with a leadership structure.

We need to make sure our movement remains for the people and not for the movement's sake alone, otherwise we may end up as out of touch as this and recieve similar results.

We must also ensure that we don't do overly showy tactics and stunts, as that seems to be the thing that got this ball of desertion rolling in the first place.

That's my take on it anyway.

Also, I came up with the term ending reformist as a way to distance ourselves from the retake mass effect hold the line crowd if it ever comes to that, either way the term has a nice ring to it and matches this causes goals of long term pressure.

I agree with you on how we shouldn't be shoving our message wherever we can fit it in. Spreading the word is one thing, but forcing it down people's throats isn't going to get us anywhere. These things seem more agressive, and our movement seems to have a more peaceful philosophy grounding us.

Not just our words, but our actions must remain civil and controlled. We don't need aggressive, violent solutions which will only alienate others from understanding our motivations and ideals. Our message will only be lost if we surrender our civility.

Billboards, cupcakes, and asking nicely probably aren't going to work.

I am holding my wallet ever since DA2... just made short breaks for ME franchise related products... you know... comics, dlc's, books... ME3...

Ever since yesterdays patch... I am not giving them any more of my money until they fix the entire ME3 game, which is a total and unacceptable mess...
