Wonder when I can start the wee one on games, still a bit uncoordinated at three to play anything I have, and I think my NES/SNES/Genesis/Master System RPGs are still a bit beyond her.

I intend to start her out with stuff like Crystalis and the Dragon Warrior series, then on to things like Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger, maybe she'll learn the evolution of games and that story means more than graphics, achievements, crappy multiplay.

You know, see games that were actually a form of art before she's exposed to the incomplete releases and nickle and diming via DLC that we have to put up with today.

Same here, and got my first rated M game at age 4

I was thinking something like Sonic or Mario, don't want her to get frustrated falling down holes or losing all her rings though.

If I were you, I'd go with Mario to start with, prefferrably Mario 64 if you can. That's what I started with, and I remember enjoying it. IMO, Sonic is more difficult and therefore more frustrating, expecially the older versions.

I think its kinda funny. Over half of the officers in this group are sick. (Not counting my hangover) Oh no guys, BW is behind it. they want to kill our movement by taking out the officers. ;p

Somebody has to hold down the fort so its good to know its somebody we all trust 
no other games catching your eye right now?

I would be playing Skyrim but it crashes my computer if I look at water and eventually that annoys me. I might be playing Sims 3 but that's EA and... well, it's EA >

Ive been playing Skyrim as-well but i needed to step away..Never played Sims and now most likey never will

I'm coming by as well

But I'm more focused on branching out at the moment.
