Alright folks I'm back in fighting shape from yet another brush of death I've had in my life.

Still feeling... unwell. I'll do what I can.

Yay! You're back!  :o /hugs
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well, but so glad to have you back!

Good to see you too.  Even better, I see you have held the movement quite nicely while I have been gone.

My health is still very weak at the moment, so I don't plan on getting much of anything done.  I do need an update on what has happened over the course of the last few days.  Also, another thing I would like to discuss I will send over PM.

Head on over to the discussions tab in our group. :D

Hey Master welcome back :)

Heck I got the N7 edition...I wonder if the ending will jut provide more clarity, or if they are going to cave and retconn the entire thing.

And by summer...will anyone care?

personally? I do. This series, just as dragon age. change a LOT of things that used to be unchangeable. take homosexual/lesbian love interests for example. Not as a major gimmick, but simply as an option with the same value as choosing for a straight relationship. Not to mention the detail and storytelling that went into DA1 and ME 1 + 2 + most of 3.

These series will continue to serve as an example. it's up to us to ensure that example improves the industry, not plunge it into a dark-age of stagnation

This website has the WORST formatting ever.

Working with the main page and making colors stick is like trying to teach a monkey how to write.

Frustrating. Lol.

Have you tried using you magic pixles? :wizard:
I find they work best when used in conjunction with tubes constructed out of magical obsidian by the dwarves.

Our core leadership is forming very very nicely.

Silversnowfox is now the latest co-founder inducted.

Good work everyone.

By stubbornly refusing to buy their games, Bioware now has even less reason to listen to your demands. They'll simply continue to make games you don't like, by making games aimed at demographics you are not a part of.

Which might hold merit, except our movement is multi-demographical as far as I am aware.

We are a group like-minded consumers who are refusing to pay for any more EA and Bioware products until they get things right, and if they don't listen to us they will only lose money.  We are international, and have all kinds in our ranks from dedicated hardcore gamers to casual.

And each one is steaming mad over the problems EA and Bioware continue to aggravate.

Already, we have cost them about a future $125,550.oo in boycot damages.

THIS HURTS YOU BIOWARE.

Seriously though, I will not spend another dime on BioWare or EA until I am satisfied. If I must buy one of their products, I will buy Pre-owned.

Hold the wallet!!!

Except you're not hurting them, atleast not untill they release a new game and you actually don't buy it. Besides, lets look at it from Bioware's point of view. Why should they jump through hoops to appease a handful of people when there are literally millions of other gamers out there who are potentially willing to give Bioware their money?

Granted its good buisness to make your customers happy, but eventually you can reach point where its just not profittable for the company to keep trying to appease you and decide to just cut their losses. Which is exactly the direction your group is heading. In other words, you're making your selves more trouble than you're worth.

No, we aren't hurting them.

YET.

But we will.

We have some plans in the works, and also plan on communicating our message to multiple news outlets friendly to the Retake Masseffect group, such as Forbes.

We will make waves. We are still in our infancy as an organization and the leadership is still solidifying, but we have plans and the organization will be strong enough to pull some punches soon.

Out of principle I will never buy another BioWare product, or download anything from them again. Not unless they start listening to our feedback.

Extended Cut DLC is not what we asked for, it's more crap on top of the old.

I will hold my wallet from them!.

*wishes there was a NZ picture for my sig*

This is an intersting estimation, how exactly do you come to those numbers?

I apologize about the non-NZ picture availability for the sig.  However, I would encourage you to pick the euro or USD banner anyways and add it in to the signature.

Anyone who clicks on the banner will be re-routed to this webpage, and our numbers will swell.

And also, as the leader, I welcome you to the movement.  We'll make waves.

If each member were to boycot $150 of future EA/Bioware products, the total results in 125,550.oo USD.

Granted, the ACTUAL number will vary one direction or the other.

actually, look at the price of Mass effect 3 copies. They are lower than some games released last year. retailers are stuck with gigantic amounts of unsold copies. The ****storm that was started with the ending definetly had an effect already. This movement does not only go from there, but takes another step against the puppeteer in the shadow: EA.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not simply blaming everything that went wrong with the games Bioware released as of late on EA, however that does not mean EA is not to be blamed to an extent and, as such,  should feel the reprocutions as much as Bioware.

never forget you and I are the consumer. We hold the power, no matter how much the producer tries to portray an image where we are powerless.
