Seriously though if they can salvage the Normandy part of the ending and give some closure based on our choices, I'll be happy. Space Hitler still sucks and the ending will most likely remain bad, but at least it won't be the worst thing in the history of gaming anymore (exaggeration?).

She hasn't really lied to us yet. And she really doesn't seem to be that type of person who would want to lie to the fans. It seems like shes one of the few people who actually cares about fan interaction and gathering feedback. Take it as you will. If she really was fed with misinformation I'd bet she'd be sort of pissed off. 

I'm not accusing her of lying, and I certainly hope what she's saying is true (if nothing else, because it sounds like "more personalized" really does mean what we're hoping it does), but you have to admit it's a bit weird.

I'm confused, Bioware says they're "clarifying" now the Twitter feeds are saying "your choices matter" like they were supposed to matter when we pre-ordered ME3. Wasn't all this meant to be in the game already? An epilogue that tells you what happened and is based on your choices? Why wasn't this already in the game?

That said, I'm REALLY GLAD THERE'S GOING TO BE AN EPILOGUE. To me getting that slap in the face ending and no clue what happened to anyone/thing/warassets/characters/choices/planets/races/space-hamster left me guttered and and, I'm assuming the very least we'll get a text box summary of how our choices changed events in the galaxy -so at least our choices will have done something even if the ending is still strange/bizarre.

I'm really interested in these "new cinematics". I assume they'll explain why Joker took the Normandy for a spin during the greatest space battle in history. I hope Harbinger gets shot - through his sub-plot many thought he would be the "Sovereign" of ME3, instead he flew off never to be seen again.

In regards to the Relay discussion, the game is called Mass Effect, since number 1 I expected whatever would kill/defeat the reapers would involve destroying the Relays because we've been told already that the relays ARE A GIANT REAPER TRAP. Did everyone forget that? The relays were made solely to get organics to evolve on set paths for easy harvest.

People really need to stop taking everything Jessica says as Word of God. She is not actually involved in development, she is just a community manager. She has claimed that Shepard could be reunited with the Normandy crew before, and it was just speculation on her part. That is almost certainly what we are seeing here again. Don't get me wrong, Jessica has been awesome through all this, but she is not a dev. In many ways, she doesn't know anymore than we do.

Look, basicly they are going to make some the illogical and optimistic choices canon. That'll be the clarification. It'll be flimsy logic........ but still, they are trying.

Oah c'mon people. You guys are able to brew up an entire theory of the indoctrination of Shepard, and you can't even make up the theory that, I don't know, the energy wasn't released in a explosion but through the blast of the Crucible?

I'd love it for Bioware to confirm Jess' statements as fact.... It would add tons of replay value, and I may just buy DLC if I know I can be reunited with the crew/have some say in the outcome of the galaxy.

Huh. My optimistic extrapolations about lots of Reaper tech available for research, Shepard being capable of reuniting with the squad (Shepard *will* build Tali that house, even if it takes a decade or two to get to Rannoch), etc, and the galaxy at large being quite so screwed as initially appeared... may be validated? Now *that* is a clarification I can get behind, even though I still think Shepard not being able to tell the Catalyst that its assertion is imperfect (or simply nonsense) is really irksome. I didn't broker peace between the Geth and quarians, and show EDI the value of all life, synthetic or organic, without steadfastly believing it was the best thing for everyone, after all.

As long as we had those possibilities, that's all I wanted. As they are, the endings didn't give us any hope, just... speculation.

No offence but I read an article with an interview with Casey Hudson saying, less than a month before the game was release, that each ending is tailored to each person game through all three Mass Effect games and it would not be an A, B, C ending. They LIED! So, excuse me for saying, I don't believe it, not for one moment! To many LIES from them to their 'FANS'.

She's a community manager, one of the main people collecting feedback from twitter/BSN and relaying it to the devs.
