No, we are not just being "mad" for the sake of it. In fact I would say people have been rather restrained so far. It would be all too easy to go on the offensive at a time like this. Alot of people feel betrayed by Bioware, myself included, and what it comes down to right now is their complete lack of disclosure on what exactly it is they are planning.
If it is going to be an epic cinematic(s) that remove the starchild's tri-colour choices, restore the Reapers to a point where they are a potent and terrifying enemy and roll with IT or another similar idea then cool.
If however they are going to retcon/BS the entire lore to make their ending fit, then it ain't cool.

This is why people seem a bit disinterested, and rightly so. Until we either know what will be in it, or play it, there is no reason to be excited, cautsiouly optimistic yes but there is no reason to thank Bioware just yet.

If you get to reunite with your crew, then it would see that red is the color since blue and green = shepard dies...based on current knowledge at least.

Yeah same here. Happy dust to make people stop asking the questions about why the ending makes no sense.

It would be enough for me to not view the rest of the series as something I couldn't face playing again but I completely understand your position too. I view "not making sense" as a bit less important than tone here partially based on the past - the Reaper baby in ME2 didn't make sense either but could at least be shrugged off.

I get that and want that too. Just bitterly disappointed it sounds like there's just going to be some sugar afterwards to wash away the bitter taste of experiencing the appalling ending. I'll have to wait and see if i find this clarification rubs salt in the wounds or if it leaves me with a renewed desire to replay the game despite the ending.

No, it doesn't. In EVERY ENDING we see that all of the Mass Relays are destroyed. They break in to tons of pieces and explode just like in The Arrival. The only difference is that the explosions are color coded now.

Also, how will they rebuild the Mass Relays? They'll go to the Charon relay and then connect it to....what? The network is completely gone and the Citadel was torn apart by the beam that was fired from it.

ive never been a big fan of the whole 'mass relays blown = entire galaxy dead theory anyway,  the way i look at is, if you have a balloon full of air, you can get the air out of it in two ways, squish it, poke it with a pin etc and it will pop, a rather distructive method, or, you can just channel the air out of the bottom like your supposed too. I have always looked at it as, the mass relays were designed to release their energy, but not by hearling an astroid at it. and as for these new "clarrifing" endings, with sacrifices, its fairly easy to predict since they refuse to re-do them. in the blue ending, your ash, but you can make the reapers build new mass relays, but you will never be able to hook up with your crew, if you go for red, you get to blow everything up, your crew saves your butt, but the mass relays are forever gone...

I......... Just........... Think I might have felt a tear roll down my cheek. 

If this happens, if Shepard sees Liara again, and Tali gets her house on Rannoch, and Ashley becomes a Spectre, and Garrus sees his family again, and EDI can live with Joker again, and Javik gets to commit ritual suicide, then........... I'll personally send them another 402 cup cakes. 

Except these ones will have a personal message of thanks and will all be different flavors. 

If Shep can see Liara again, I'll shut up and Bioware can take my future money with DLC, and future games. I won't write them off.

I hope this is true. It would solve 50 percent of my problems with the ending.

Don't get caught up in the hype or you will get even more disappointed and that will just fuel the ''rage''.

I won't take any of their ''words'' until I see the Extended cut myself. I already have low expectations from this since they basicly said '' We love the ending but we gonna explain how we messed up with more cutscenes'' ... I just love to see how they will TRY to explain the plotholes without another non-sensical reasoning.

But that's kinda the point.  You have to sweat out the choices.

Do I reunite with my LI at the expense of EDI and the Geth?
Do I kill myself so that Joker can get some tail?
Decisions, Decisions...of course, this assumes that Star Brat isn't trying to mindF$%* you.

Good for them. The Mass Relay in Arrival destroyed the system because the outward discharge of energy after it exploded was flowing outward and all around it, whereas the Catalyst focused the energy toward the next relay. Hey, if ancient civilizations of aliens could build the mass relays, why can't we RE build them? We've already found ancient blueprints for a huge weapon that we had no idea existed, so I highly doubt we would not have a plan for in case this sort of thing happened.

Excuse me, but this I won't believe until proven. A BioWare PR person telling all these things/spoilers in advance (relays can be rebuilt, you can reunite with your crew and LI and live happily thereafter in a "Reaperless" Milky Way) MONTHS before this Extended Crap is released?! Maybe it's just me, but I can't see that happening. No company in their right mind would allow a middleman to tell such things to customers so early... but then again, BioWare hasn't been in their right mind for quite some time.

But the most terrifying thing is, that some of you guys and gals are taking this PR talk at face value. "Listen to what you're saying! You're - being - indoctrinated!" Ahem, sorry for the in-universe rambling. No, I'm not belittling, insulting, lashing out at those who have finally seen a glimmer of hope. But please, don't build up your hype and set your expectations/hopes high for this so fast, lest the same sort of disappointment and pain that struck you at the ending will reoccur... Remember, they lied to us before, so what's holding them back from doing so again? Cautious optimism is all fine, but blind trust in BW is something that can bite you in the arse REALLY hard.

Still, I'd be more than happy if at least your hopes came true. Personally, while I always wanted to be reunited with my crew and LI and have a happy ending, I'd want an ending that makes sense, first and foremost. One that doesn't unload a whole thermal clip of bullets from a Revenant into the lore of Mass Effect.
