Hello there,

excuse the question, I have checked most topics on Morphs etc. but I simply could not find a solution to my "problem". Well, not so much a problem as more a desire. But anyways, probably someone might help me.

Is there a possibility to move the head morph of one NPC to another? My specific problem: I am female (thats not really the problem actually, but put laughter in here ;)) - and I simply don't find Alistair attractive. I'd rather have some noble whatsoever knight looking like Ser Gilmore by my side. But sadly this guy draws the line before the game even starts (Ever seen an movie where the main sex-godess dies right at the start? That's why I think more women should go designing games, so that the real male-cuties don't die in the very beginning!).
So the idea is to play Frankenstein, cut Alistairs Head right off and insert Ser Gilmores Head. But although messing around with the toolset I could not find a way to do so.

If anyones knows a way (other than printing Ser Gilmores head out, and pinning it in front of my screen whenever Alistair appears) - I'd really appreciate your help!

Hmm, why not simply make an attractive male head morph yourself and stick it on Alistair's body? Naming the file "hm_genfl_alistair.mor" should allow you to romance anything you want.

Hello,

thanks for the quick answer Sensory!

Seems like more people had the same problem and now I got the solution:

I haven't seen any requests for this info so I may be the only who cared, if you want to copy the appearance of a NPC (I made my PC into an edited Ser Bryant from the Chantry in Lothering) for your character the morphs are found in:

\\\\dragon age origins\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\data\\\\face.erf

Just extract the morph using the toolset. You can then edit the morph if you want or use it as is.

Any case this thread is really helpful!

That archive (face.erf) contains .mor files, not mrh. Is there a way to edit .mor files visually, with the morph editor, rather than change values manually?

This is what I've been trying to figure out as well. I can't seem to edit .mor files in the morph editor.
