Need help. I'm in the Gallows toward the very end of the game. Specifically, I just completed the battle inside the tower with the mages. I've been through the western arm, where Orsino and Meredith used to be, and killed the Pride Demons & co. there. The only outlet, or place to go I can find is a door to the eastern arm of the building, but, while I can open the door, there are flaming logs in front of it and it won't let me pass. What do I do? Do I need a patch? It won't let me exit the building, and I've done everything else inside where I can get to.
How do I get to the end?

@ Aramis.
Are you here:

And have you fought Orsino yet. Have you been at the docks yet? If not, take at look at this quote:
Once you get to the docks, be sure to prepare for the fight of your lives and be prepared to use bombs (in the game), poisions (on your weapons) and to fight. Anders comes in really handy here with his group heal ability and ability to raise dead companions...

Once that's done, make your way through Lowtown to the Docks, fighting groups of mages or templars on the way. Additionally, you'll face several groups of demons.
Once you get to the docks, you'll face a blood mage and a large group of shades, including a pride demon. The blood mage should be killed right away to avoid being hit with their draining spells. Avoid the pride demon's swirling vortex spell, as it can trap you, deal heavy damage, and leave you open to be ganged up on by the shades. Have your tank lure the brunt of the shades while your ranged attackers deal with the demon.

First, did you side with the templars or the mages? I've never sided with the templars so can't help you if you did.

Previous 2 posters... he's past all of that heading to the main area.
OP, you need to take one of the side doors. A good rule to follow when playing any game of this type is to open all doors. Through some of the doors you will find more mobs, there is also one with a fire trap, so don't just run in (especially if you are playing on a higher difficulty), be cautious.

Did you check the door on the Right side. That section has two doors open one on each side where climb up some steps I think you need to back track to the center room. Just basing that on the flaming logs.

I know he's pretty far; I just don't know at what point and how far the two sides diverge from one another.
I am guessing he's coming out of the long hallway where the desire demon is at the end of the hallway, yes...? And just before the last door, there is a side door where a bunch of templars come out. Then you go down the stairs and into the courtyard to fight Meredith.
