So im playing through ME3 again as my Male (Mostly Renegade) Shepard. My first playthrough shepard was always a female paragon goody two shoes. The more noble and lesbian version of Commander shepard haha

Anyway..

Regarding the Overall plot:

its interesting listening to the dialogue of various characters like Hackett and such regarding the crucible/reapers/indoctrination.

Being as that Ive finished the game already much of the dialogue is making alot more sense having seen the ending now. Ill admit i either didnt understand much of the dialogue or it didnt pertain to what was going on at the time of my first playthrough. So its like a new experience kind of having that insider take on whats playing out this time around..I dont know that it clears things up but it definitely helps you see how its all referred to up to the end.

Somewhat different outcomes throughout the story:

Liara:

I found i had a moment with Liara similar to the Garrus scene shooting cans on top of Citadel. Liara came into my cabin and showed me a time capsule like memory cube (reminded me of Javiks prothean memory cube thing). She told me she made it in case we dont survive the reapers. The item would include information about the world, races and galaxy.. and Shepard..

I thought this was interesting because I didnt encounter this in the first playthrough. She even asked how I would like to be remembered in this time capsule thing. I told her she could make that decision.

Thinking about the end and possible future games this does allow to keep possibilties open after seeing the ending (I mean heck.. Cerberus brought Shepard back to life in ME2 whos to say this information couldnt rebuild a galaxy?).

Mordin:

Also my encounter with Mordin and the genophage issue on Tuchanka as a Renegade this time around I kind of kept quiet about the secret that the Salarian councilor asked me to sabotage the Genophage cure. Where in the first playthrough i just blabbed it right away..but this time around at the end with Mordin i finally came clean. Only cause i saved Wrex in ME1 and didnt want to screw the guy over at the end.

Instead of my previous first playthrough of ME3 Mordin going up to cure the genophage singing and kind of scared knowing he was going to die (very sad).

This time Mordin insisted to me that he go up there and cure the genophage and to let him make the decision as someone might not make the right decision otherwise (referring to me) so he went up there and cured the krogans rather honorably and because he felt i was in the wrong for not being certain i wanted to save them...

I loved this new encounter it felt more human for shepard not being perfect and Mordin actually stepping up telling me im wrong and dying honorably for what he believed in.. I thought it was great different outcome and better send off for him in my opinion..

Ashley:

Also I got Ashley on board the normandy. On my first playthrough of ME3 I had missed that opportunity in fact this time around I almost shot her (I think when she was defending Udina). I didnt want to kill her so i skipped the renegade prompt given to me during the Udina Standoff. I want to have her as a squadmate and maybe a romance partner this playthrough otherwise i woud have shot her hahah

im just loving the somewhat different outcomes you can encounter throughout the game if you play differently. One of my favorite things about mass effect series.

I definitely feel like i get a somewhat different experience with multiple playthroughs be it right or wrong in the story i want told for my shepard.

Did you encounter any different things during your other play throughs of Mass Effect 3?
