I had this happen with my Salarian Infiltrator. It was NOT the other thing where after promoting you get all of your level 20 skills and negative skill points (though that has happened to other classes of mine).

I've never promoted Infiltrator at all. It was just the Salarian out of the 4. As if I had never deployed him at all. So yes, I can confirm that on PC.

for the ammo types one while using a submachine gun it doesnt always appear but the effect is still applied.

If it helps the enemy in the grab animation failure video is behaving exactly like the invincible enemy I was describing. I would be willing to wager that is the source.

However, like you noted it is hard to confirm. It looks like the Quarian was trying to land a grab. If it had backed up a bit we would have known for sure.

I am probably doing this all wrong but, on Xbox360 when I try to fire a rocket by pressing and holding the D-pad nothing happens. Am I doing it wrong? I target in with the cross hairs and whilst targeting hold up. Have held for almost 10 seconds and nuffin. Any help would be well, helpful :P

I had a brand new one earlier... No idea what caused it/how it happened though... PC player

My friends and I decided to try Gold against Cerberus on Ontarom (The one with the Giant Satellites). Set everything up, made sure we all had right characters/powers/equipment. We all load in and my keyboard doesn't respond to any inputs at all apart from escape. I can look around but my body stays facing the direction that I spawned facing (which means my gun shoots sideways when I'm looking behind myself). I cannot use abilities or packs. The Hud had loaded slightly weirdly as well, not showing me the amount of shots in my gun/total ammo left etc.

My friends purposely left me to die so they could rev me to try and fix it that way, didn't make any difference. Stayed facing the same direction/not being able to use powers. I left the game and rejoined (losing all that equipment) and it worked fine.

This was a new one for me...I was just downed in a wave 10 reaper frenzy, I figured I had no time to wait to be revived so I used a medigel... it consumed one, but the dying counter kept going, so I tried to use another, but it wouldn't work.

I thought maybe I was lying in a ravager puddle or something, but I'm 99% sure I wasn't, and there was no getting up animation or anything.

My team probably thought I abandoned them or ragequit, (no mics, wished I had one then.) It took a bit, but they wiped.

I felt awful.

Another bug is that i can't receive the victory/ comendation packs or the collecter assault rifle pack in multi, on the xbox.

hapenned 3 times now: my weapon stops working during the game for a few minutes ... i didn't have lag at all. it just couldn't shoot i click and click but nothing. then after a few min it's ok again.

also in a game today an asari looked like it fell out of the map but he kept on playing. then he died and his body was on the floor like normal but the revive button wasn't working for me. the others could revive him and later i realised he only looked bugged from my perspective - he was fine to the others and himself.

edit: also when i try to look up a player to add him as a friend while in the lobby - i click the "find" button and i get a message "origin has stopped working and me3 will now close" or something like that.

that's all folks.

P.S. also i say again (just in case) the falling out of the map bug isn't specific to vanguards.

Some more, 360 here:

1. Combat Drone will attempt to shoot enemies through walls/ceilings.

2. The "Grab Animation" glitch can also cause the enemy (in this case, a cloaked Geth Hunter), to be frozen behind you yet unable to be killed so the round can never end.

3. Quarian Engineer's flamethrower turret has the same audio bug as the Drell Adept.

There is another serious issue with the game and that is ONE button does everything (except melee).
I am tired of trying to revive teammate who went dow near a wall only to do stupid of dance of huging wall unhuging wall 3 times before i can rez him/her. Thi is especially frustrating when you are under fire. Or imagine this you running from a banshee and there happens to be conviniently placed pillar/waist high wall near your intended path and for some reason game interprets that running around it i actually want to hug it and make sweet love to it and while you at it banshee gets too close vacums you in and bam your dead. Beyond awesome fun. Seriously don´t you guys have playtesters to point out stuff like this.

Connection drop out problem: give us saves between waves!

And just to claify, I play a LOT of online games on both the PC and my PS3 and it handles them all without a problem, except for ME3, so the problem is not on my end.

I was in a match the other night of a Vanguard falling out of the map and have it recorded. I felt sorry for the player because they were stuck there until the end of the game. poor soul had to deal with that bug for like 3 waves. While I am not a vanguard much I do not like seeing other player's experience ruined by such terrible bugs. That must have really sucked for them.

On the bright side even though he was stuck outside the map the enemies didn't pay attention to us when they got close to him so we just took them out.

I don't think I will ever see 4-5 geth pyros all shooting firing right at the ground, They looked so silly lol I hope to have the video of that match with the bug in it on my youtube channel sometime soon i hope. So if bioware needs video proof I have it.

I've once fallen out of the map as a non-vanguard. I think engie.
I wasn't the host, and I got killed by a turret while rolling backwards. Obviously no one could revive me, and when I got up next wave I was still outside the map. I think it's probably a ragdoll glitch, since I think it could easily wreak havok (ha) on physics when coupled with momentum from the roll.
Also, with the "Heavy melee replaced by omnitool pistol whip" glitch, also wanna add that Drells will also use the standard melee animation (also, I think all the times the bug happened to me, it was the other melee with a non-pistol/smg weapon, because I generally use shotguns) instead of his roundhouse kick, and the cartwheel kick that follows doesn't occur either, but entering and exiting cover again does fix it.

tell you what you got, but seems like you at least do get your loot. So

know it for sure cos the last time it happened to me, a 'new' tag was
campering the SR slot and i found out i got a shiny black widow yay

mine was a salarian infiltrator as well O.O could it have something to do with the specific character? anyway i say 'was' cos i then promoted the class and now im releveling it from scratch, just to be sure

for what it matters and who could cares, i deploied all 4 infiltrators before ever getting an inf training card or playing a single match as inf, and it did not bugged (yet). some one on this thread or a similar one suggested to do so in order to avoid the negative skill point counter glitch, iand it seem to work for me (could have just been luck though)

Hits failing to register due to stun animations

If I use a Shotgun or a Pistol, only 3 out of 5 bullets will connect to an enemy even though the shots are direct hits. It's something to do with the animations that's causing this problem.

For instance, if i shoot a Marauder in the face, he'll cok his head back then the next few shots to his neck or his chest just refuse to connect, leaving his health unchanged. Then when the Marauder is upright again, my shots begin to hurt it again.

A very similar thing happens when fighting any Geth units and also when fighting Cerberus Centurians and Engineers. Every time one of those characters coks its head backwards after you shoot it or if the character staggers, it becomes immune to damage for a second or so. This results in a lot of wasted bullets.

Even tested this when i'm the host and my ping is more or less perfect. Problem still occurs

Retarget the enemy and you can charge it.

Annoying but sometimes hilarious.
Too bad you can't charge out of where ever you end up getting stuck.

One that didn't seem to be on the list, but has happened to me a few times:
Get grabbed by a husk, get someone else kill it before you go through the stomp animation, now you're stuck forever standing still. When the next round came, I died (still standing) and got revived, but that didn't help at all. I was like the krogan statue on the citadel in ME1.
Might be related to being a krogan, or that it just happens in some extremely specific part of the animation, who knows.

Couple things to confirm/add to existing bugs, and one I haven't seen reported anywhere yet.

All on PC.

- Krogan heavy melee attack passes through enemies in Stasis:

It also passes through cloaked enemies (geth hunters, phantoms with barrier down). With the other bugs below, this makes charging them suicide if you don't judge the distance perfectly

- Krogan "Stun Lock": Confirm
Can confirm this one as well. Really noticeable after charging a cloaked hunter as per above :pinched:

- Getting hit with a melee attack in the back will stagger you backwards: Confirm
Can confirm this one as well. It's most noticeable when you're playing a krogan or turian, as other races will dodge away while you have to turn and run to escape things.

- Rubber banding due to collision detection issue: New
May be lag related or simply a display issue, but a fair portion of the time a teammate bumps me I start flickering between 2 spots on screen - really noticable when getting ammo at the end of a round and everyones crowding the ammo box. Can be fixed by entering cover and shuffling sideways a bit.

None of the glitches I have encountered have been at Bethesda levels or game-breaking, but I've encountered some of them.

The Ops Survival Pack one has to do with connection issues. You see, if you are on, extremely low health and you use it, from my understanding, the game does not register your health and shields until its all the way full. There's a one second delay. It's frustrating, but understandable.

Another problem is the loudness of Quarian Engy turret sound effects. I don't mind the loop as much as it's loud.

Finally, there's the levitation glitch which is awful because it often leads to two minutes of incomprehensible gameplay or the game freezing.

I'm not sure how i can confirm this (i'll learn how to use fraps soon) but I'm quite certain that the Krogan Melee attack bug that causes him to go straight through enemies in stasis also happens on the PC. Not every time, but i noticed something odd about not being able to kill them sometimes. I think it happens more often in rage mode.

- Biotic Charge towards edge of map can cause a system crash:
It just happened to me again so I can confirm a previous suspicion. Firebase Giant is the most common map for it to occur because so many enemies enter by jumping up onto an open ledge. If a Vanguard charges an enemy jumping up onto the map and this charge ends up outside the map it will lead to a system crash. My guess is that there is a check that is supposed to prevent a Vanguard from charging off the map. However, it's still possible due to lag or an enemy getting staggered off the map pulling a charging Vanguard along for the ride.

My most recent example: I was playing on Firebase Giant and killing enemies jumping up into the LZ area. I was about to charge an enemy when he got staggered. My charge hard locked the 360. This is not the first time it has happened and I will now avoid charging enemies head on along the open edges of this map.
Known Platform: 360.

1. The run speed is slowed down. The animation looks fine, the legs move, but the speed is comparable to a snail taking it easy. I can shoot, I can cover, I take and deal damage.
Edit> frogot to mention - it stopped when I got KOed and revived.
2. Invincible monsters - had to quit a game because we had a monster (canibal) that could not be harmed in any way, but it kept moving and shooting us.
3. Stuck monsters - they get stuck when entering the field, sometimes in midair. Can not be harmed, but do not attack either.

Is the banshee immunity to biotics an ability or a glitch? Sometimes they become completely immune.

sorry if this has been said before, but shockwave stops working around mid match, seems to be related to the radius upgrade at rank 4, i can also confirm that charge sometimes will not trigger a biotic explosion. ultra light materials not working is really chapping my ass the most though.

Edit 1: the charge not setting off biotics also happens to me with the asari vanguard, seems its charge that is the problem, as with many of these other bugs...

playing on the PC, but my friend has the 360 version and ive seen most if not all of the same bugs when hes playing at my house.

can also confirm that Rank 6 evolution of concussion shot, Amplification, does not work at all as someone said earlier.
