We are not too sure of the cause, though it is never seen on the host, and each case is a bit unique with what they can and cannot do, as well as how to get out of it.

Basically, something happens, and you are mostly ignored by the enemies, unable to interact with most objects, pick up ammo, or cause damage to enemies.  But you can push them, sometimes revive/be revived, and you still collect EXP/Credits, you can also stagger enemies, and cause no damage..

Platforms:  PC, possibly Xbox too, not sure about PS3.

OH MY EFFING GEE.  This has got to be the one of the most annoying glitches I have ever experienced in any MP game experience because IT IS THE REASON I have lost entire matches before (e.g. I'm the last one standing, need one heavy melee to kill the LAST enemy, and all I get is a dud.  Then Marauader Shields does a rofl-pistol-whip-pwn on me and ends the game.)

And just for the record Bioware, I have read that this glitch has happened for some people once or twice.  This glitch happens to me at least once or twice PER TIME I play.  Please for the love of god fix this.

Edit:  Just read more of the OP's post (which I quoted but didn't read thoroughly enough, apparently.)  This glitch doesn't only happen to me in cover, it happens random as hell to me.  I have no sense of the point of origin of the glitch, but I know it's not limited to cover scenarios.

I am on PC. This bug happens regardless you are hosting or not. It has happened a few times for me and no harm done since the biotic charge cooldown is not applied. It might have something to do with the target taking cover before the biotic charge animation finish.


Also, not sure if this is intended by Bioware, I notice the mob and surround mobs that I am charging towards, with Biotic Charge, will start targetting and attacking me before I even hit the target with Biotic Charge.

Like I have said so many times, but seems they are ignored again and again..

on PC:

Being hit by  Heavy melee by elite units (Phantom slash, Brute charge ) from the back, will incorrectly play the "stunned" backward animation.

Character who gets hit from behind.. will get "sucked" to the enemy (your char will stagger moving backwards towards the enemy) this is deadly against phantoms, as it means the phantom will have a very high possibility (higher than 75%) to insta kill you on next hit)  The animation should correctly play the forward stun animation and not the backward when getting hit from behind.
The backward animation sometimes can be worse..it can get YOU STUCK inside units.. (Brutes)

As mentioned before, Rockets Do VANISH like projectile weapons.. sometimes it can be so awful it will vanish more than half the team's rockets.. 

Stuck Enemies www.youtube.com/watch

Enemies get stuck when "falling" from upper sections on spawn.
Particularly troublesome in Firebase Reactor.  Sometimes they are VERY HARD TO KILL.

Negative Recoil

Dampeners still give you NEGATIVE RECOIL with certain characters and certain weapons (see Turian Sentinel )
common bioware! this bug as been since the DEMO!!!

Dying at the same moment as you "powerup" the shields /health restoration items.. brings this weird bug.. Im alive.. but Dead.. cannot move, but can shot, fire powers..etc.. can only be restored when you start to bleed down and someone revives you.


Also confirming the "GHOST" Bug that someone talked a few ago.. its a severe desync caused by lag.. specially when so many enemies spawn and the host lags... www.youtube.com/watch
You can move around, enemies see you, enemies aim at you, but you cannot do any damage, you cant do anything.. not even ladders or objectives get active..cannot pick up ammo or use powers too.

Can you please add to the list the bug where your shields fully refresh, but you still die in 1 hit? This happens with ops survival packs and charge.

Close to death -> use ops survival pack -> get full health and shields -> die as if u had only 1 health

This occurs as host of the game too, so its not lag.

A minor bug I faced only once:

- Dead player still kills a Husk
How it works: Husk grabs a player and they start struggling (player needs to tap the melee button). If the player is killed during this process he/she is marked as dead but don't fall to the ground until the Husk's head is smashed. Looks like the struggle animation can't be interrupted even by death.

I've seen this happen a few times on PC. Here it is on video. Two cases, but I have seen it a few more times.

Gun shooting forever (animation only)

Here's a fun one. I revived a guy but the reticule thingy didn't disappear for the rest of the match. I could even click it and it would turn green. (I was also very low level, but had my level 20 powers)

Ones I have encountered on the PS3:

Grab animation results in invincible enemy.

Weapons firing blanks, but staggers enemy and no damage done.

Unable to revive teammates, unable to use consumables, unable to use ammo resupply points, and weapons do no harm to enemies. Only powers affect enemies.

Store packs take credits or cash, but nothing is rewarded.

Alright, this issue has been my pet project for quite some time now, but this seems like a good place to post it. If you consider it valid, please add it to the list!

- Collector Rifle Pack Fails to Appear In-Store Glitch:

How it works: When more than one Collector Assault Rifle multiplayer weapon promotional code from the various Dark Horse promotions and Razer ME3 accessories is redeemed is redeemed at once (as in, before redeeming them in-game) via social.bioware.com, one or more of the Collector Rifle packs will fail to appear.

From both personal and reported experiences with these promotional codes, there are two possible ways to reproduce this glitch: 1) Redeem multiple codes before visiting the multiplayer, or 2) redeeming multiple codes from the same product (i.e. 3 codes from the "Dark Horse Digital Invasion" promotion only nets 1 Collector Rifle Pack).

I assumed until recently that the promotion required that each code be from a different promotion. However, according to a user on this thread: http://social.biowar...3662/2#10962609, redeeming one code at a time and waiting a couple of hours will cause the pack to eventually show up in-game.

Known Platforms: PC, 360 (both confirmed)

Note: It is possible that this is not a bug, and that the user on the
aforementioned thread was just incredibly lucky/exploiting a glitch,
then we should get some sort of confirmation or clarification on the
"Collector Assault Rifle" promotion. This scenario simply is not
addressed anywhere that I am aware of, at least not clearly.

Hopefully this particular problem will merit attention, or at least a response, as I am currently missing 3 packs, and it is driving my nuts ! :-(

I have had a few issues in the past where in the middle of a match I would simply no longer do damage. I could shoot at an enemy and try and melee them but I would do no damage, I could not interact with anything in the game (ladders, objectives, reviving team mates, picking up ammo).

The only fix was to just let the enemy down me and get revived by a team mate. Sometimes this would work, but the issue was that enemies would barely have any interest in me. I could stand right in front of an enemy and they would maybe start shooting me or melee me but once I lost my shields they would lose interest and go back to shooting my team mates. One time I literally stood in front of a turret in hopes it would do the trick and it actively tried to NOT shoot me. In fact I could stand in front of a team mate like a human shield and it's bullets would phase through me. And once I did get downed I was unable to pick up ammo for guns that I had shot every bullet from. So if I emptied all my assault rifle bullets I could no longer get ammo for it but my pistol would work just fine. Thermal Clip packs wouldn't solve it either. In order to fix this issue I needed to be killed and come back at the next wave.

Another issue I've had since the demo was randomly I was unable to heavy melee. I don't know what would set this off. I think it might have something to do with being downed or coming out of cover. If I tried to melee or heavy melee I would do a weird spinning move and melee the enemy. Instead of a simple pistol whip or hitting them with the rifle butt I would spin around clockwise and hit them with my rifle butt like a weird roundhouse pistol whip. I have experienced with Humans, Asari and Turians. I have no idea what fixes this but it happens for a short period of time and then it goes back to normal.

Oh, don't forget the 360 equipment bugs >_< Using a thermal pack or survival pack will not work. The game will register that you have used it but won't give you the ammo or health/shields back. I've lost tons of consumables this way.

No clue how they are for PS3/PC

The Geth hunter can continue to fire while being knocked backwards. Literally while his gun is pointing at the floor. This is guaranteed to happen if you knock him back at the beginning of his three round attack.

Yes, when you try to use a Medi-Gel sometimes it will be used but nothing happens, and you can't use another until you go down again. That happens with Thermal Clip Packs at times, but you can use another.

There's also a glitch where if someone is in cover firing, and you go in to cover by them, whilst they are firing, the player firing gets stuck unless you move.

In reactor level, Cerberus troops will sometimes get stuck dropping down, usually at the far end of the reactor.

I can confirm the invisible enemy (phantom in this case) bug where the host (me) will see the phantom running around but no one else will. This seems to be related to one of many stasis bugs (enemies shooting you while fallen down from stasis, etc).

One interesting bug I don't think has been mentioned yet is when you can't fire or reload (possibly lag related?). This seems to sometimes be reset/fixed by heavy meleeing.

Also, while on the line, I think the behavior is broken enough to qualify as a bug - when the connection to the EA server is lost during the game, it should probably not immediately disconnect you. At least allow a few retries... It's just maddening at the moment because it seems to be getting more common and it's completely out of players' control.

Banshee ranged attack travels through walls:  This just happened to me yesterday and boy did it suck.  This has to be a bug right?  I just noticed another thread where it was mentioned.  Poster called it a hadouken a la Street Fighter.  Heh.

Another glitch: Shockwave appears to stop working as the game goes on. I just played a game and for the first four or so waves it worked, and then it just stopped completely. Point blank on an assault trooper who I was shooting at the same time (so it couldn't have been lag) and it just passed through like nothing.

Not sure if this has been said yet. But the geth prime can place his rocket turret anywhere at any range even out of los. Also the fix you put for Power reset cards to have a max of 3 does not work i had 3 at the time of patch and have 9 now so have missed out on decent items.

I ran into this bug as well (Xbox 360 platform)

The weirdest part was that it also was accompanied by another glitch.  I was elevated above the map as if I was standing on top of a box/tower (it seemed about the same height as a mob as later a Geth was standing completely underneath me) in the Northeast corner of the map near the ammo crate (if you're facing outward from the base)

I was able to fire at mobs and kill them but couldn't move.  Because they couldn't find me, I didn't take a lot of damage and thought I wouldn't make it to the extraction point.  I ended up finally getting killed and just let the character bleed out so I could respawn next round for a full extraction.

Uhm, one more thing about the charge: sometimes (very rarely) you seem to get hit mid-charge (during the fly), so when you exit charge your shields aren't full or are completely depleted.
E: Happens when hosting, too

Okay, reporting some game-breaking bugs/problems/glitches here: (Platform: PC)

1) Hitscan/bullet weapons firing "blanks": This one happens to me most of the time, usually on fast-firing weapons; using ROF increasing abilities like Marksman also exascerbates this effect.

What it looks like: I'll be firing a high ROF weapon at a target, hitting the target with at least 90% accuracy. The damage done, however, is extremely low: a Revenant I on Bronze takes more than half of the 60 round magazine to kill a single Geth trooper or Cerberus trooper. However, burst-firing the weapon at point blank will kill the same enemies with half as much ammo. Note, however, that this isn't an accuracy issue: the Geth Pulse Rifle, with scope attacked, is almost perfectly accurate. I can SEE the bullets hitting the target, but the hit marker only shows up a small fraction of the it should (if I'm hitting the target with 15+ rounds a second, yet I can see the hit marker almost fade away completely before reapearing, there's a problem).

This is really, really problematic, and it kills a lot of the fun for the game. Many weapons are just completely nonviable, and many weapons/builds are far less effective than they should be because of this.

Weapons I've Noticed This For:
A) Raptor
B) Revenant
C) Tempest (this one is iffy; I only remember suspecting it when I used it with Marksman)
D) Phaeston
E) Geth Pulse Rifle (this was the worst by far--I did more than twice the DPS just by using a Predator pistol. Even with perfect accuracy, this weapon was lucky to kill a single normal trooper on Bronze before needing to be reloaded)
F) Mattock (this one is iffy; I've noticed that it seems to take a lot more shots to take someone down than it's stats, combined with damage multiplyers, indicate.)
G) Falcon (though this one goes more into the Projectile Blanks bug listed in the OP, it might be a related problem).

As a note, my internet connection is quite good, it's wired, and I've made sure there's no problem with the firewall.

2) Grenades restock sporadically at best; sometimes only once every 3+ minutes: Basically, except for a single day recently where it seemed to be finally fixed, my grenade "belt" is only refilled at an extremely slow rate, and often piecemeal at that (1 grenade after a 60 second wait when my max is 3...)

What this looks like: I threw two of my three grenades about 30 seconds ago. I run to one of the ammo stations...and nothing. I can get clips just fine (usually), but no grenades. I wait another 15 seconds, and go back to it. Still nothing. 15 seconds later, I might get one grenade, despite my max amount being 3.

This is also game-breaking, because half a dozen classes have grenades as one of their two unique powers, and grenades are a lot more fun to use for me than most abilities. It's also EXTREMELY frustrating to have an ability I've invested into heavily be rendered almost useless because I only get to use it at an average rate of 1 grenade per wave, despite having my grenade "belt" being capable of holding 3. As far as balance goes, it's not nearly as powerful as Stasis, biotic explosions, CHARGENOVACHARGENOVACHARGENOVA, Energy Drain, etc.

That, and having to resupply very frequently at one of the four supply stations scattered on the map is enough of a disadvantage as it is.

3) Visual Effects for Adrenaline Rush only appear briefly at random times--but sometimes works correctly: A minor issue, but basically, I'll activate AR, and either the visual effect will not trigger at all, or it will only trigger after 4 seconds or so. This does not always happen (even in the same matches where this bug is common), however.

4) Can't descend down ladders, can't climb ladders: There are seemingly random times where I literally cannot climb a ladder (and no, no one is using it at that same time) at all; every time another person has tried to also use it when that bug is happeneing, they were having the exact same problem. It didn't seem to happen during times of great lag (in terms of it being a pattern). It's not map specific, but the ones I distinctly remember are that ladder on Firebase White (on the third floor), and the ladder on Reactor; the one closest to the LZ/spawn (in the corner of hte map).

As for descending, it's a lot weirder. I'll start to descend, but all of a sudden my character jerks upwards, looks like (and sounds like) he's still sliding down the ladder, holding invisible bars...and this continues for at least 5-6 seconds straight, after which my character will suddenly snap back up to the top (though I can't remember if I actually snapped to above the air above the floor, or the bottom, on occassion). Haven't seen this happen to other players, but no one's been near me when it happened. Didn't seem to coincide with great lag in terms of it being a pattern.

5) Damage dealt by heavy sniper rifles occasionally drops hugely for no discernable reason:
Not entirely sure if this is a bug, or some game mechanic that I can't see/make sense of. Basically, using a Widow I with Extended Barrel I (and Tactical Cloak), I'll shoot a geth trooper on Silver, and on occassion, my shot will only take away a bit over half of its health. This same exact shot completely kills the trooper (same difficulty, circumstances) at least 90% of the time. Can't remember if this has happened with the Mantis as well.

Promote bug:

Dunno if it's in that 11 page thread but;
Promote character, new characters are as expected (1 point spent, 1 point available). leveled them through matches. Quit ME3, Start ME3, promote bug takes effect. Characters had -24 points @ level 15. (Characters were leveled from 15 to 20, promoted, leveled to 14 or thereabouts, quit, restarted, SQUISH! Moth in the punchcard.)

Second bug: N7 Valiant being unequipped.

Equipped N7 Valiant, played some matches, quit ME3, start ME3, character has no weapons equipped. Access Weapons screen, default weapons are equipped. N7 Valiant also has no moddeds equipped.

I have exactly the same bug with N7 Hurricane and N7 Eagle.
