You guys make me sick sometimes!

This is generosity never before seen by any entertainment indusrty. To give the people what they were demanding, and to do so for nothing at all, it's like when jonas salk created a polio vacine and gave it away for free instead of patenting it, only less beneficial for all of mankind and more something to try and make ammends for ****ing up their last game. Still though, free dlc is something unheard of this day and age, and the reaction to it has been disgusting.
Fans have not only outright rejected the DLC idea before even knowing the specifics of what it will add or alter, but they are now moving to extend their boycott to all products bioware has ever produced. They are mobilizing to purposly and gleefully destroy bioware just because they don't think they'll get exactly everything they ever wanted and a free pony.
You guy's won, retake mass effect won, the endings are getting changed, epilouges to show you what happened are being added, and it is FOR FREE!!!! And yet it's not enough to you, okay than, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!? Do you really want a complete retcon, where they remove the entire final battle sequence and redo it from scratch exactly to your ****ing taste? Cause you know what that would mean, it would mean they would have to place it in all the new copies of the game and have you buy it that way, because no DLC is big enough to handle a gigabyte sized update of this complexity.
Hell, not even broken steel did waht fans are demanding bioware do, it never completly rewrote the edning and removed elements from it, all it did was take the scene after you blakc out and die and told the program to direct you to the new content instead. And any changes that were made seem to only build on what was originally present, and not replace and remove prexsiting content.
But you know what the real kick in the balls is, the real cherry on this **** sundae the fans have managed to create on these forums about "oh, the starchilds still in the game!" or "bioware didn't change things." and "nobody wants clarity or clousure." and all that other bull****, you guys asked for it first. First three weeks of this fiasco, all anybody wanted was for bioware to make the endings have clarity and closure, to fix the plotholes it made, but now it's not enough because people got impatient and demanded more and more catering to their won demands.
And it will probably work, and in a lot worse ways than you think. They will probably cave, they won't ever admit it, but they'll cave just like they caved on this issue. They'll cave like democrats cave to the bat**** crazy republicans in congress who act exactly like you ungrateful dicks have and bioware will stomp it's feet and swear to never give in right before caving like the suckers they are, cause they actually believe that will stop you ****s from killing them.
It won't though, it will be biowares last act because so many people will have held the line right up their own ass that they can't see the truth from the bull**** narrative they surronded themselves by. They'll keep people from giving money to bioware, hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the go outside of midnigh treleases of bioware games and picket and protest against them. They won't make enough money to cover the overhead cost of creating and distributing a game, they won't draw in the numbers to keep thier game sales strong, and they will get more and more in dept before having to file for bankrupcy, cause if I learned anything on these forums, it's that this is how far fans will go to not feel indignent or wronged anymore.
So I hope enough rational people are around to outweigh the crazies and the selfish come the next game release, otherwise bioware really wil be seeing ti's end, and it will be from it's fans own hands, the right of judas, and the left of brutus.
Or, and I pray to whatever deity their is, the extended cut is good enough to stop this nonsense and this post can be brought up as a mark of shame and ridicule for me. I really want that to happen, but I was right about the fans never being satisfyed and still working against bioware no matter what back in march 15th, so fingers crossed there.

They do not "give us what we demand".
Nothing was won. Except by EA/Bioware.
No endings are getting changed.
Check your facts there's no point refuting the rest of this.

Discuss.
Also, the endings are broken. You cannot clarify something that's BROKEN. You fix it.

The length of a turd does not improve its value.
Edit: And seriously, you think they're going to start construction of the ending patch now and work exclusively on it for the next few months? .. we'll have a DLC announcement in days, couple weeks at the latest.

You, I, and quite a few were willing to pay for a new ending if it was proper and significant enough to justify the price.
Yet, this situation is nothing compared to what would have been if BioWare was going to make us pay for new DLC. Sorry, but my observations have been that people were expecting a proper ending that would also be free of charge.

So, today bioware announced ending DLC for free. I repeat, dlc that adresses the problems of the ending, and will be able to be obtained free of purchase or monetary exchange.
It doesn't address the problems of the ending. They've told us that the ending isn't changing. We know that Jenn Hale isn't coming back, so there's no new shepard dialogue. We're getting a few new cutscences and that's it. But the problems go muuuuuuch deeper than that.
It's like buying a car only to find out that the muffler, engine, transmission and windshield wipers don't work. Also, the car smells really bad, you just didn't notice because the sprayed with perfume during your test drive. You go to the dealer and demand they fix the problems. They give you a scented christmas tree.

So just because we call Bioware on their BS ending and their unethical EA-style ways lately.... we are the worst now ?
I wonder how THE Shepard EA let you leave their flock.....Wolves might catch you if you stray away too far....

Honestly, the gesture is appreciated, but either through pride or not having heard us properly they've missed the point of our objections.

Skimmed the rest, looks like the rest of this post is just sucking Bioware's dck, and not adding anything productive to spurn a discussion.

Saw this and had to comment. This is precisely what an "extended cut" is, and that's what Bioware just announced. They're doing EXACTLY what Broken Steel did, and that's a good thing!
