Maybe you just didn't "get it".
I'll release a clarification patch in the summer.

I said I was willing to pay for a proper ending. Therefore I don't give two hoots about a free "explanation".
Discuss.
Also, the endings are broken. You cannot clarify something that's BROKEN. You fix it.

The length of a turd does not improve its value.

Stopped reading here. Fallout 3 did it without nearly as much ****ing from the fanbase. You've got your facts wrong.xsdob wrote...
This is generosity never before seen by any entertainment indusrty.
Skimmed the rest, looks like the rest of this post is just sucking Bioware's dck, and not adding anything productive to spurn a discussion.

Actually, it does make sense. You just don't understand it.
at least youl admit you wont buy itThe Angry One wrote...
Clarification of a broken ending is not what I asked for.
This ending does not work. I don't care if you make en entire new game and call it Mass Effect 3 Episode 2 to explain it. IT STILL WON'T WORK.
That's why I will never be happy with this. I don't care if it's free. I doubt I'll even bother downloading it.
BioWare have a chance for a do over, instead they're going to try and fill in the plot holes with gum. That will not work.

ROFL.
And yes, it does make sense. It basically means the fact it's going to be longer than 5 minutes is irrelevant if it is only serving to elongate crap.

Not really. The Retake movement has effectively been destroyed today.
Enough people were "i love bioware but i hate the ending" moderate. This has swung them back to Bioware's side. They are getting free DLC that addresses the ending.
People that wanted closure, clarity or free stuff are now happy. They have severely fragmented the retake movement the day before they were due to show a united front at PAX.
You'll still get vocal people, but they areclearly the minority now if they were not before. They will also look more spoilt and whiny than before for rejecting Biowares compromise.
It's a very shrewd business move by EA.
äh... what? I get a 10GB New-Contet Update for Witcher2 on April 17 for free, Contet based on Fan-wishes. Something CD Projekt not done the First Time. And what about Bethesda? They give me tool to Change anything in their Game I want, I even can change the Parthunax Problem at the End thanks to Mod, or anything other Problem. I can create a commander Shepard with N7 Armor or a Starchild so I can kill it with an Axe. I can create a hole new Story or Change the existing one dramatical.xsdob wrote...
