Over 90% of you will. When their big, new RPG is being released amidst a mountian of hype, you'll spend.

Hahaha this>> only time will prove either side right or wrong!

I'm missing an option: depends on how they deal with the ending controversy. I feel that the Extended Cut is a step in the right direction, but that if we keep the pressure on they may be persuaded to do a bit more. It is in their interest as well.

Did they release something and it looks good ? There are ways to obtain it from internet.

I wont spend my money and hours to another **** final, not again.

They'll have my psychological support on forums, but it's unlikely I'll buy future bioware games.

Um... yeah. Kind of no-brainer really. Does anyone go see a movie that turns out to have a lousy ending and say... "Well, thats the last movie I ever see by Universal Pictures."

I will never buy a Bioware game out of faith in the brandname again. I play games to have fun and to be entertained. Playing ME3 was not fun. Contrary to the majority I did not enjoy ME3 that much (although I LOVED ME1 and ME2). I did not enjoy the sense of haste that were forced upon you. To me Mass Effect was about roaming the galaxy not running frantically about. In short ME3 did not feel like a ME game. Also the game felt incredibly rushed (no updates in your mission-log as you progress through missions... WTF!?!). And finally that awful, pseudo-intellectual, boorishly "artsy" ending. Awful through and through. Therefore I will NEVER buy a Bioware game again unless I am certain that it is a good game through fan-reviews. I will never listen to either Bioware or professional game-reviwers like Colin Moriarity agian. Good NIght.

Next time I screw up at work, I should say that my actions were so beautiful and hence artwork that doesn't have to be fixed. I have a feeling that I would be quickly shown the door. Bioware has this one chance to fix their screw up. If it is not done well, I am (sadly) done with the company.

I will continue to support Bioware. Or maybe its more accurate to say that I'm not automatically abandoning them. The first 26 hours of ME3 were pure awesome, which is 26 hours more than some games I've played in the last year.

I usually do alot of research about a game before I buy it to see if its the kind of game I like to play, if it follows the themes that I enjoy, does it have any "features" that turn me off. If Bioware were to start a new IP, I would subject that game to the same research that I do with any other. I'd almost certainly buy the next ME/DA. At worst, I might not preorder.

They've got more of my attention than Random New Company has.

I'd support Bioware with pre-orders or new game purchases... if they weren't part of EA.

However, EA has taken all that I liked about video games, streamlined them so they are boring, hastened their release dates so they are unfinished, and then charged AAA prices.

Free or not, this DLC is a nice gesture, but I just won't care in the summer when new titles that are FINISHED PROPERLY are out and available to play.

Not another penny to Bioware.

If the "extended cut" manages to pull off some miracle and actually make me like the ending I will man up and admit I was wrong. From what they've said so far though, I don't see how this can happen.

Now that BioWare has announced the Extended Cut DLC, what are your plans in regards to purchasing future BioWare products?

http://social.biowar...63/polls/31436/

After voting, please post your vote here in order to bump the thread. A large sample size will establish this poll as an accurate measure of fan's reactions to BioWare's Extended Cut DLC.

Edit: Since some people are confused about the wording, "financially supporting" a company entails a transaction where any percentage of your money is being forwarded to that company. Buying a NEW copy of a BioWare game from a retailer such as WalMart, Amazon, or Best Buy would be considered financially supporting BioWare.

Buying a USED copy of a BioWare game from a place like Gamestop would not be financially supporting BioWare, since no money from your transaction is forwarded to their company.

Playing ME3 online mutiplayer is supporting them and EA as well. In fact online mp is really what they want us to do.
NOT ME!!

This is why they make a game wityh day one DLC, so if you buy it used you will still be foorced to pay BioWare for the DLC so you have to pay them something for a compleate gamming experience. Also the reason they added Multiplayer in this game is because their is NO POST GAME CONTENT IN A DLC FORM!!!!

I won't be supporting them any time soon. Hell, I haven't even played the campaign since the ending. At first, I considered supporting them while they worked on fixing things, but since then I've seen how they have responded...telling people they are listening while giving them more of what BioWare wants.

They're no longer the company I used to love and support. Their hubris is astounding, and though they use all the right words to assuage us, their actions tell a different story. Of course I'll reserve final judgment for the 'extended cut,' but honestly I'm no longer interested in them trying to explain their 'artistic vision.'

NOT buying anything from Bioware again.
I will even cancel my SWTOR subscription, they sacrificed their style which for a long time made them the best, for EA's quick buck. Damn you EA. I'm done with Bioware.

If they continue to make good games,I will continue to support them. Whatever my thoughts on DA2 or ME3 might be,I will wait and see what they come up with next. They have given us wonderful games before, and not do I only want to see them continue to do so,but would never wish unemployment and financial uncertainty on anyone.Let us hope they genuinely understand what made fans concerned regarding the direction they have been taking their games, and will not allow themselves to be further indoctrinated by the rEApers.

I don't see why not, I enjoyed 99% of the ME series, which is way higher than nearly any other form of entertainment can achieve. I don't know who plays MP here, but I downloaded the resurgence pack which was free, and decided that it was worth paying for so bought some Bioware points.

For reference, I hate the ending, think it deserves to go down as the one of the most colossal let downs in the history of story telling unless IT is true (which I would like, but I feel the time has come and gone for this to be revealed)

I won't however be preordering games anymore. I won't buy them second hand either though.

Not an easy decision. I'd definitely wait for fan reviews of any product of biowares in the future, since I pre-ordered both Dragon age 2 and ME3 and got burned (I'm not talking about the ending of DA2, I could bear that, but the silly gameplay).

I'd say no, though. I'll buy their games second hand in the future.

lets see
no more preordering. no more buying the game until after user reviews are out and I would not buy new unless its under $30. oh and no buying DLC until after review by players.
Ya I feel betrayed after the end of ME3 and the message of buy our DLC was just a slap in the face.
