I play Bioware games solely for the story.
If the writers at Bioware honestly think they wrote a satisfactory conclusion to the ME series with the garbage ending that they gave us, it doesnt bode well for their writing ability going forward.
I cant see myself buying anymore Bioware games.
I voted no.

I for one do not plan on continuing to financially support BioWare or EA. If I want to buy either of their games I will definitely be buying used. I don't think there is any way BioWare could win be back as a customer. I know for certain I will never buy an EA game again.
this I may buy their products but they will all be bought used. And if used isn't possble next gen I just plain won't buy them.

I will not financially support Bioware. I was on the fence until I thought about it for a moment. Everything they do is in counter to what they used to do. I can still play there games easily enough via second hand etc and not support them. I always played Bioware games for the story since there game play has never been amazing. With DA:2 and ME3's ending debacle and subsequent handling of said debacle there is now a track record that they think their game play > story. They hide behind artistic integrity ... I was unaware artistic integrity meant copying exactly another stories ending. I can't rationally believe everyone of importance at Bioware believes they had a fitting conclusion to their story.

Not enough options.
I'll hold judgment until we have more details about the ‘clarification’ (and hopefully other DLC/games), but unless the clarification is spectacular for me, they've certainly lost me as a preorder customer, and my pre-release recommendations to others.
And, of course, the real sh-bird here is Electronic Arts, with whom I'd prefer to have nothing to do.

Honestly, I am going to take a 'wait and see' approach with any future BioWare titles. However, there will never be another BioWare title that I preorder after ME3's ending fiasco.

Honestly I probably will still buy their games, but not as blindly. No more pre-orders. No more buying every dlc no matter how silly. Etc.
This mirrors my feelings exactly. I will never again preorder a BW game sight unseen. Ever. Period. Done. I will no longer purchase 75%-90% of the DLC packs just because.
I will no longer throw out BW as one of my top 2 developers in gaming. I'm done.
Hold the line? Please. This is the end of the line.

I don't plan to. From now on, I'm waiting till the price drops and buy it from a reseller. And only if FAN reviews are VERY positive.

Will I let 1% of a 99% awesome game stop me from buying future products.. Hmm no I don't think so. Anyone that's stupid enough to leave after a bad ending are just cynical especially when they are giving you free dlc to expand the closure of that ending which after all is the main thing we're going for here. So yeah damn right I will keep supporting bioware

If they make the ending not abhorrent, sure. They don't have to change anything, just make the current one a trick, extend it, let us beat on Harbinger and show how evil he really is, give us opportunities for loss like in ME2's ending, create some awesome mid fight + victory cutscenes, and make one complex path to have a good ending where you save almost everyone.
And for the love of the gods, fix Tali's face... There's one on deviantart I'm sure the author would agree to let them use that is 10,000x better.
Oh, and I certainly won't preorder anything ever again.

I probably won't unless this "DLC" actually makes me feel satisfied with ME3's ending.

Why should I financially support Bioware? They are grown up and healthy people who can get a decent job if they want to.

You know. At first I hated the announcement.
But if the extended ending clarifies the plot holes and reunites (which implies either Normandy crew gets off planet or Shepard somehow winds up on planet?), then I'll shrug. Probably buy from them again, possibly even day one.
But if this clarification seems overly pandering. Or if it's something that's obviously phoned in....I'm out. So I'll wait and see.

No.
At least very likely no. It depends entirely on what this DLC is exactly, but I doubt it's going to be satisfactory.

Well, atm, I am personally undecided, though I am leaning towards no.
However, I do know that a few friends of mine, after having read that Bioware is not actually changing those ridiculous, illogical endings "copied and pasted as if from a completely different story (Deus Ex)," and only adding to them, have blatantly told me that they would no longer buy Bioware's games. And they'd put particular emphasis on *buy*.

I've said all I care to say in the links in my sig. The ending is fundamentally broken. Clarifying can't improve it and will probably make it worse.
The practical argument is that we were misled. The game does not have 16 endings. Our choices did not matter. The game was rushed to development, and the response from BioWare has been one of a company making a calculated business decision in order to get as much money out of fans as possible.
They exercised poor judgement on multiple levels with this, and I don't trust them anymore.
If I play their games ever again, they'll be purchased used.

I think, I won't. And that makes me a little sad. I started to play Bioware games when I was 18 and Baldur's Gate came out. I have spent many, many hours with their games since then, and most of them were good.
If they somehow manage to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps with the ending DLC, I may consider GotY-Editions. But I seriously cannot imagine buying any of their stuff when I am not 100% sure whether they will provide a fulfilling ending.
