There's a very tall order on the table. Somehow redeem the worst conclusion I've ever seen all while pretending that it actually happened and was good. If they can pull it off, Ill stick with them. If they blow it, as it looks like they're doing now, they will get no money.

I voted undecided. Even though I was extremely let down by ME3 for a
variety of reasons, I will be a reasonable person and see how they
choose to solve the endings issue. If the "clarification DLC" gives us
multiple endings showing us the consequences of all the major choices we
made with the OPTION for a happy ending if we have high EMS and made
the "right" choices, and shows us how our LI's turned out, then I will
continue to support bioware. Although I do admit that I will never be a
consumer who preorders ANY game ever again.

If they manage to screw it up AGAIN though...the wallet is forever closed!

Of course. They make better games than most other developers.

Mass Effect 3 was a fantastic game.

After voting, please post your vote here in order to bump the thread. A large sample size will establish this poll as an accurate measure of fan's reactions to BioWare's Extended Cut DLC.

Cannot vote because OP put me on his block list, likely because i have a different opinion to him.  If you are banning pro-end people from taking part, it's hardly an accurate measure lol.

DA2 wasn't great.  It was ok.  Mass Effect 3 was fantastic, I cannot help it if you didn't understand the ending.

Nope. If it's deemed worthwhile I'll buy it used until they rebuild their reputation and trust with me.

Sure, I will continue to buy. However I don't think I will pre-order anymore.

If the new ending DLC is good then I will buy DLC, if not then writing ME3 off and waiting for DA3.

I'm not going to choose to buy/not buy a game based purely on the fact that BW made it. I certainly wont pre-order them, but I'll decide whether to buy them or not on a game-by-game basis. (I voted undecided for that reason.)

Undecided. I just can't fathom any way that they can clarify this ending in a way that works. Willing to wait and see, but hardly optimistic at this point.

I voted no.

That is how I feel right now. Could that change? Yes. Do I think it will after the way the announcement today was handled? No. I hate space magic. I would play Skyrim or Dragon Age if I want magic. I play ME for Sci-Fi.

EDIT: Dragon Age: Origins was a great game, not knocking magic, just want my sci-fi magic free.

What can I say... somebody told me that bioware addressed all the issues with DA2 by releasing legacy dlc. I want to check whether this is true. Already downloading it via torrent ...

I think this is how most people feel. I can't imagine they'll make much money on any DLC's before the clarification DLC.

No, I actually spent $25 because I did have fun in multiplayer. Hoo boy was that a poor call on my part. At this point I'm more excited about the breadth of narrative possibilities coming out of Halo 4 than I am anything from Bioware.

Mabye, if played it on another platform, but as a Ps3 gamer... NO.

To be honest, except for the ending I really enjoyed ME3 and even with some flaws I found it to be a fantastic game. But the ending was just insulting and a BIG dissapointment.
On top of that I bought the Ps3 version because Bioware said there would be no quality drop if compared to Xbox which was a big lie. This is probably the worse port I've ever played on Ps3, the framerate was just laughable (specially during citscenes). But what made it worse is that despite a lot of people complained, they just ignored us. On the xbox 360 forum there was a thread with almost a pages consisting of answers from the bioware staff (and it was just about some bug on the citadel) and on the Ps3 forum they have spent all this time ignoring a 35+ pages thread about the framerate, they couldn't even give us and answer.

Why should I support a developer with my money when they have shown they don't give a **** about me as a consumer and ME fan??.
So NO, I won't be buying any new bioware game. I'll keep playing their games, but I will just rent them or buy them used.

If you look back at my posts, then you'll see that this issue has never been personal for me. That I wasn't going to let Mass Effect and its team have a massive effect (lol) on my gaming experience.

I was going to just stop trusting the BW brand, stop preordering, and not buy any ME 3 DLC (not being petty, just didn't see the point with railroad endings). I was still going to look at Dragon Age 3. Maybe buy in the first week if after checking around about it.

But it was never about my feelings. It was about making smart decisions with my money re: Bioware's products.

But now it is personal. Now it is about a company that continues to wrong me and others like me for no reason other than they can get away with it.

Maybe it's just me, but should this really be a decision made without even seeing what they come up with?

I'm not saying I'm optimistic, but the die has been cast here.  We've got no idea how expansive or extensive the clarification is.

These polls are hard to answer to me. If the DLC is basically a big "hey guys! look at all of these cut scenes that explain why our ending doesnt suck" then there is no way in hell I am buying another Bioware game. I'll just wait till its 5 bucks at gamestop or rent it.

On the other side of the coin though, if the DLC somehow magically makes me not angry and actually quells my desire for a "not a piece of garbage" end, then I might support them.

I'm not too hopeful for the 2nd side of the coin though.....
