As of right now, no.

They can change that, of course.

Highly unlikely but not completely outside the realm of possibility.

Yee hee! I'm pretty sure 90% of the whiners on this poll will play the next Bioware game to come out anyway. Losers.

Probably. But I'll wait for it to hit the $10 bin at Gamestop.

the pirate bay

too fast!...I was going to say torrents...

Seriously pirating is just gonna make things worse. Look at the online passes. Just buy them cheap and used so EA doesn't get any profit.

sorry bro, but what goes around comes around :)

It depends on what the DLC ending contains. If it does address our concerns, then yes. I will continue supporting bioware. However, if it does not, and simply attempts to gild the rubbish of the current ending, then no, I will not. Either way, I won't until I get said DLC.

I somehow doubt people's actions will align with their claims.

By proxy, I will not continue to financially support Bioware. I'm blanket boycotting EA products in general from now on.

Yes. I enjoyed all the Mass Effect games, and even if the ending wasn't perfect I've still had many hundreds of hours of enjoyment.

If I boycotted every company, every tv channel, movie studio, music label and musician who didn't always give me what I wanted I'd never have any entertainment.

I am undecided. A lot hinges on this DLC they are offering and if it satisfies me as a customer. Until I see it I will not be supporting them, and if it does not live up to my expectations I will continue to not support them.

Until then I suppose I am still holding that line.

I've been a fan of Bioware for over a decade. All they had to do to get me to buy any of their RPGs was to say 'hey, we've made a new game' and I was (pre)ordering it without having to even know anything about it. I've bought all their PC RPGs from the original Baldur's Gate to Mass Effect 3, some even multiple times and some more times still as gifts for others.

With Mass Effect 3 I've realised I'd basically paid 70€ for them to crush my soul and make me depressed for days. Nice job there Bioware, in 10 minutes you've managed to destroy over a decade's worth of my trust and faith in your games. But hey, you've preserved your 'artistic vision and integrity'... or you would have, if ME3's ending had any vision or integrity to begin with.

I'm all for fixing up the ending/adding to it if it actually results in doing the series justice.

Adding to what is already bleeding out from fundumental flaws and trying to patch them up with clarifications? what about this sounds right?

I do like the idea of being responded to, getting a result, but I'm skeptical about how they are going to go about it. ESPECIALLY when they stonewall discussion about it (IE no discussing ending/ending DLC at PAX)

They betrayed us once with this ending fiasco, I'm not going to be continuing my patronage if they do so a second time. Failing to deliver a quality conclusion to this series will amount to that, and as time passes, I'm failing to see how it is even possible for the ending DLC clarify and expand will really satisfy the problems that the ending itself created without changing it, rather than adding superstructured content to it.

Either way, I'm not going anywhere until they do the series conclusion JUSTICE. and If they don't I will not continue my support of them.

so at this point, I'm standing where I am, Holding the Line
Its their move

Unless there's real change, no chance. The ending is complete fail and I predict that this artistic baloney is what we can expect from further BW games, so screw that. Needless to say that I honestly don't appreciate how they've treated the customers/fanbase over the last couple of weeks.

I'm really uncomfortable giving money to a company that makes oddly specific promises even after their product has gone gold and not upholding them. Even if it's not BioWare's fault, and all this could've been avoided if EA didn't want the game to come out just under two years after Mass Effect 2's release, I'm still not interested in shelling out money for the 60 or so USD equivalent of The Village. If I'm really that interested in any BioWare product that comes out after this, then I'll only either rent it, or play a friend's copy.

I never supported 100% I love the entire Mass Effect franchise, however I never purchased any of there other games I wish Casey the best and I will pay close attention to what he does next. But this has not stopped me from buying anything from EA or Bioware.

I won't be buying anymore Bioware games. DA2 killed the DA franchise for me and I traded them both in last year. I may hold on to my ME trilogy but I currently have no desire to play them. The disks have not been in my 360 for weeks now.

I just don't feel like buying games from a company that outright lied to me about the product and is now pretty much refusing to engage with their dissatisfied customers.
