Sorry very new to the game. Is there still a dex bug for the PC version? I read about it somewhere and was wondering if it was still there or fixed since then.
Is dex still bugged?

For the sake of clarity, dexterity was never bugged. Daggers are bugged.
And that bug still exists, yes.

And if you do you want to use daggers, there is a mod that fixes them. In two flavors, one that "fixes" bows too (though if you ask me it breaks the sh*t out of them)

Where can I find the "non-bow" dexterity/dagger fix? I only see the one mod that alters both at The Missing Manual site.outlaworacle wrote...

Even with momentum, swords can be a bit slow, I used the Axe/Dagger combo Main hand/Off-hand which was fairly effective. I don't remember the name offhand, but there's a fantastic axe for about 130g from one of the shops (might be the dwarf in camp, I forget) that adds 15% backstab/crit damage, and is incredible for a main hand dual wielding rogue. I was routinely getting 60+ damage, and with momentum, thats about once every 1.5-2 seconds... domination.

Dex is supposed to contribute to Damage for a dagger, but it doesnt, its all strength.

Sword/Sword is for losers
Even with "Broken dex" my Rogue rips through mobs doing 70ish dmg PLUS all sorts of added elemental dmg (+15 on main hand +9 on off hand , plus flaming AND iced weapons at the same time)
He has haste from Wynne constantly too , so were looking at roughly 200 dmg per second , and thats on nightmare too
Edit : I wear Red Jenny seekers (Gloves +15% crit/backstab dmg) The rose thorn (+30% crit/backstab dmg) and I have Lethality+coup de grace & exploit weakness and pumped CUN & DEX , more cun than dex though

cun rogue has higher DPS without the fix actually.

Only main hand runes activate on backstab. The weapons do alternate.

Yeah well I did deliberatley put +15 dmg on my main hand because of that
My off hand has +9 anyway for the few off moments where I have to do non backstab hits

So that was why my high dex rogue was dealing so little damage. thx for the link.
btw I don't feel that archers are underpowered...I'm running a mage and enemy archer's are really annoying and damaging, I'll just apply the dagger patch cause I have a feeling that i'll get my butt kicked royally if enemy archers get buffed further.
