I entered the codes I got in my email from Impulse and it showed both the "Unable to redeem code" and the "code successfully redeemed" messages at the same time. After launching the game I tried to do the whole registering to be able to run it at all process, but it says the code is already used and doesn't link it to my account (which I was definitely logged in to when I tried to redeem the codes as mentioned above). Here's hoping it's just some freaky lag with the registration servers and I'll be able to log in after an hour or two...

I had the same thing happen (the "unable to redeem code/code successfull") thing happen when I used this site here and it all worked fine it just took a little time.  Like a couple hours for them all to show up and they all did not show up at the same time. Even then some wouldnt download.  I think the majority of the problems for the gifts and DLC is the load thats being put on the site and such.

As for the registering the game I installed (used the code when asked during installation) and then if you just try to jump right in it will bring a page up ask you to log in to your EA account and register the game there. No problem at for me.  Maybe if anyones having problems with the website you can attempt to do that.

On a last note asfaik and have seen you will download all the extras thru the game not websites.  WIsh you all best of luck with it I've enjoyed the past couple hours playing.

Ditoo.. bought through impulse.

I couldn't register via the web-page.. I was finally able to once I removed the dashes. However when I try to activate in the game it says I need to type my key.. I tried it both with and without dashes -- and then it says the key has already been used to activate and I should use a different key.. or a different EA account.

*sigh*

I was looking forward to playing tonight...

i think i've registered, but the login button in game always says "you are not currently connected to the internet"... which is untrue. i've made sure it has full firewall permissions but it does it every time, wont log in at all. :(

I think I registered my game, and I followed the directions for putting in the codes that came with my game, three of them. It said on the code cards: Enter you code at dragonage.bioware.com/redeem, start up Dragon Age:Origins and log on to your EA online account, Go to the dowloadable content menu to view the download progress. However, I can't see any progress at all, and in game, at the EA downloadable content, it just shows what I can buy, not any of the things I'm supposed to get with the codes. It does have a place to imput codes there though, am I supposed to enter them there also? I have codes for a Feral Wolf Charm, a Memory Band, and the Blood Dragon Armor.

I got my PC retail version to work (with some patience). It took about 4 tries to get the register code to work. I just played the game, then tried again later. I had the same issue as abovewith the DLC codes as far as message "code invalid and code redeemed". I was worried for awhile, but then while playing, a message window popped up that said download was successful and asked if I wanted to restart. I did and then it took me to my last save. Sorry about the long post!

360 User and I can't register my CE version.

I also uploaded a character using the creation tool and can't find any confirmation that the upload worked or that I'll have the Lucky Ring.  I can't find any info on what to do or where to look after I hit Upload within the creation tool.

Hmm... I just registered my pc version (from steam) and am d/ling the various free content as we speak. I noticed I got a small pile of codes that had similar sounding names ('dragon age game' 'dragon age digital deluxe', etc.) Only one of the codes worked and corresponded to the game code.

Also, I did get a 'code rejected' once. Redoing the same exact code went through and that was that. So ... don't spazz on the refresh button, but a retry or two is in order.

Same here, I'm having problems registering my XBOX CE edition as well. Tried entering the UPC as requested (there are no dashes) and I get the following error:

"Code is not valid for game"

I also tried the code on the green sticker on the binding (has dashes) did not work either.

Registering my game access code (5 digits) with ea.onlineregister.com worked no problem. Thoughts?

Same here.

I already have an EA account associated with my Xbox gamer tag.

I bought the xbox 360 collectors edition from the EA store

My promo codes worked when entered into the game

I registered/transfered my EA account here to the bioware social site, because I want to manage my games and see my content and so forth.

I can't find any link between my EA account and Bioware account though I'm pretty sure I signed up for the Bioware site with my EA ID

I tried to register my collectors edition but its not working.

According to this site I don't own any games, haven't played any games, and have no DLC's.

Quite distressing to say the least.

All these different sites and things to register and codes to enter.

Dont know about anyone else, but steam gives the CD key as a long string. you have to insert dashes manually. It worked fine for me after that

Finally got mine to register just now, luckily the bonus codes worked ok although I am missing a couple of the steam items still but I'm hoping that registering the game will correct that. For the record the code that finally worked in registering was the "dragon Age: Origins Deluxe Game CD Key" which is also the only code without dashes even though it says the code should be xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx and be sure to enter the dashes.

there is no dashes in the upc for collectors edition. Nor do I see a section for the collectors, just xbox 360 version. I'm trying all the variations I can think of but its not working

I can register it online but I can't play the game (Digital Deluxe requires registration from inside the game) and EA Live chat is currently ignoring me (they cancel within the last 10 minutes as they can't be bothered to say "We're too busy to help you"). On the other hand they decided to email me a lovely email advertisement titled "Dragon Age: Origins - Your Journey Starts Today!‏" How's that for ironic.

Same thing here. I bought the game from Impulse, still waiting for it to finish downloading. Hopefully by the time I get home it will be done! Game key doesn't work but one of the DLC codes gave the failed and succeeded message. LOL. My worry is that without the game being registered that when I do register the game there will be a disconnect with the DLC!
I bought my DDE edition from Impulse and it worked fine. Make sure you are using the key they sent to you in the Email.

Also for those that have put in the codes but are not seeing the extra's in the downloadable content menu:
Download this file to your dragon age\\bin_ship folder:

Run it.  This will attempt to install the updater service.  Please let me know if it works.
I'm working on getting it into an impulse update, but this will get folks running in the meantime[/QUOTE\\]

those of you who bought through D2D need to allow up to 30-45 minutes for the key to decrypt, yeah I know pretty ghey, seems like the registeration site regardless of it being EA or Bio are being overwhelmed right now......I' am done with the process of registering and upgrading and honestly they could of done a much better job with the interface

I got the PS3 version, but don't know how to register the game itself. I redeemed all DLC, and did EA's registration, but I don't have any other code to register the game with Bioware.

What am I missing?
