Many did, and who you to say who insulted me. I couldn't say if someone insulted you and only I can say if someone insulted me. I'll leave it at that.

Just some help with screen capping, that's all.

of course i can't say you feel insulted but  i can say you could have been insulted based on certain words in peoples post

didn't he throw troll right back at them. I don't think anything in this thread is worth repoting either which is the only reason i even posted after i read the OP a while ago.

Not insulting you...too much, I would have to say you are about the only person I seen that says the BW is garbage so I automatically assume you are NOT being serious.Try aiming with it occasionally, you'd be suprised at the results.

I've seen vids and heard from all the people who love the BW. When i get my vid up I'll be sure to let you know ; )

@Raz, thanks for the info. I'm on PC and have downloaded fraps but had a ?. It says it's limited to 30 seconds per recording, does this apply to screen capping, because that would make it useless for this application.

Its because you have to purchase it.

Fraps is free but the free version is very limited.  The full version is 37 dollars which guarantees free support and free updates to the newest version.

Or you can try out the other free alternatives like WeGame.

Yeah I would prefer something free that's why I use encoder 4. It's free and you get 10 minutes per vid as well as 60fps and full HD recording. Wish I could get that to work. I'll look into wegame though, thanks.

You obviously downloaded the trial version.
It is not free but you have a free alternative with WeGame. I only use Fraps so i dont know if WeGame is good or bad.

Yeah I did, a bit strapped for cash at the moment. The motorcycle and car are out of commission at the same time so that's priority but thanks for the reply.

Have you tried aiming for the over-sized head of a husk? Perhaps only use the Black Widow with an Asari so you can use stasis to help aim better. Mix and match characters and skills with it so the gun can do the most and best amount of damage.

I feel I'm being baited by a troll though, the effort if that's true.

I use the BW on my Salarian Infiltrator on gold all the time and manage to get 100k + points.. I beat anyone carrying a Widow simply because I can kill at least 2 trash mobs every clip. If I headshot Guardian through his shield, it's an insta-kill. Body shot while cloaked kills off Assault Troopers. Cloak > ED > body shot to centurions and nemesis will kill them too. Cloak > ED > head shot >headshot to Phantoms kills them off too.. that's a little harder to pull off, but it has happened.

Yes, using it on another class without a way to strip shields or increase the damage through cloak, makes the BW pretty useless compared to widow or javelin, but in the hands of an infiltrator, I'd argue that this is the best sniper you could use.

Just got out of a gold game with a friend and two pugs I played a Salarian Infiltrator with BW 1 and the PUG was a Human Infiltrator with a Widow VII.

made with around 120k points and he took 90.

decided I was bored so I went Human with BW 1 and from a Premi Pack he got a BW 1.  We went again and I went 130k and he went 60k.

did another gold I went back to my Salarian and put on my Widow IV.  Went 120k and he went around 80k.

It all comes down to the skil of the player and what they perfer.  TBH with you I didn't like the Black Widow starting out but you get used to it.  And even them you might still perfer the widow/javelin and that's just the players playstyle.

ya iv never not one shotted a husk wiht my BW on silver in or out of stealth... im fairly certian your either only hitting husks with amor (though i think you still one shot them) or trolling. either way enough evidence has been put forth to clearly say it can one shot a husk on bronze,.....

OP, were u scoped ? IIRC the SRs do a certain percentage less dmg if u no scope even at point blank.

I've yet to unlock the black widow and generally play exclusively as an infiltrator; I would be interested to see whether the OP is right. Might I suggest using a decent camera phone or digital camera to capture the moment if you can't get software screen capturing working.

If You wish to reduce time when shooting atlasses - rezoom - 3 shots - 1.2 ~ 1.5 sec

Rezooming cansels 1 sec reload time between shots and its like 0.3 sec for zoon only

BW is the best sniper in the game. since i unlocked it i don't use any other weapon except for some pistol when i upgrade weight, cause of close combat situations when your teamates don't watch your back

I don't know man , I just got the BW and tested it out with only the barrel and clip, no extra stuff .... and I pretty much 1 shot all the mini adds except 2 situation, one is right after reload I aim and shoot immediately on any part of the body, 2 I shoot at melee range w/o scoping.
