It's free. And it's the only kind of ending anything you're going to get.

This is silly, I'm sorry. And very immature.

Like I'm going to replay the game just for a few clarified scenes. Not boycotting it at all, I just don't see a point, I guess.

Probably not downloading it. By the time summer comes around, I doubt I have so much as a sliver of interest left in the ME universe :/

Nope, I'll get it, it's not going to make the endings worse.

Yeah, let me know how that "helps" you, because it's not going to win you a single thing. The decision has been made, and doing the equivalent of holding your breath until you turn blue in the face will accomplish exactly nothing.

But if I don't download it, then how will you guys watch it on Youtube?

To all those that are downloading this DLC... Stop being a bunch of fanboys/girls and start acting like responsible consumers, this guy is right, this DLC will not fix the f***up that Bioware has created here!

Respect and accept the fact that other people have opinions different from yours.

This has been a daily reminder.

The only message you send by not downloading it is that there weren't actually all that many people in the community who wanted it. If you want to send a message, you download the free thing, but continue not to pay for the other DLCs, to indicate that, for whatever (most likely justified) reason, it is not good enough.

Hmm you people think the wrong way, if you download it from Bioware you create bandwidth cost for them. Special sicne it is free that would hurt more than watch it just on youtube. :P

How about we wait and see what's in the DLC first before shooting it down?

That would require tolerance and patience.

Two things this community doesn't have much of these days.

Why wait and see when you can hate now? It's easier.

Yes, let's all be "responsible consumers" by
deliberately  going out of our way to fudge the results to deliver false numbers that (somehow...apparently...I guess?) benefit us. That's ethical.

Can people stop saying that "its free" bla bla, NO its not free. We payed for this when we bought the game. We bought a game with half an ending, the least BioWare and the rEApers can do is make up for it.

In other words they're giving us a patch.

Why wouldn't I download a patch?

MS and Sony will get their money for sure, so its fine to DL this. MS might charge EA more if the download rate is high. I forget the #'s and am too lazy to look for a link but they'll make em cough it up.

Bioware/EA will say, I thought Retake was thousands strong? we only see a few people who needed this closure.. I guess they rigged the poll afterall.

bad message to send.

It's free dollars! you would be hurting yourself not getting free stuff. closure, cut scenes, epilogue.. not downloading it? oh well

How would this help us?...It's not like they're ever actually going to remake the endings. At least they're doing this...sooo...I really don't understand your reasoning.

Plus, I like closure to MY game. Not someone else's.

I will watch it on youtube/read reviews/get word of mouth first.

If by some miracle it actually fixes the problems I had with the ending, I'll download it.

Otherwise I uninstall everything Mass Effect I have.

"Ah so only about 5% of the people who purchased the game downloaded our Extended Cut. They were just a vocal minority after all."

LOTS OF RAGE ON THE INTERNET

"Ah, the vocal minority is at it again.. so we can assume out of the 5% who downloaded Extended Cut some didn't like it. Ok."

This MIGHT HAVE been a good idea....If the DLC wasn't free to begin with...I think I'll just play it, most likely be disappointed. But at least I wouldn't have spent any money.
