honestly being paragon, renegade or down right bizarre all that matters is War assets and picking the red option.

So you think paragon Shep would kill The Geth and EDi just like that?I don't think so...God, why can't we just have a happy ending for paragon and a evil( becoming a reaper-master) ending for renegate?

why would you believe an AI god child in the first place? he clearly says you'll die too but clearly with enough war assets that turns out to be a lie. i really didn't want to talk about it because this is not the right place.

Uh... I don't think color equals morality...

I say just assess the situation, and choose what you think is appropriate.

Control. You die (paragon sacrifice), but you control the Reapers and can secure peace. Yeah, the Illusive man wanted to do the same, but apparently he was already "indoctrinated" and Shepard is not. This is assuming that the IT is false. If the IT is correct, the red option is the only correct choice. Who knows...?

Well, genocide it is than. My Shep didn't come all this way to die. Destroy the reapers, that was the plan since the first game.

That's not very Paragon.

Stopping before you enter the beam. Once you see Marauder Shields Force Close the program or if console hit the reset button.

Green: Everyone becomes a husk = reapers win
Blue: Shep becomes a reaper (?) but the reapers aren't dead = Reapers win

Red is the only option people should consider tbh, since it's the only option that truly defeats the reapers.

Nah, they just get some sparkly green bits. And EDI gets a new visor colour.

you don't trust something that says it created the reapers...

Yes it is. No matter what technology we might find it's not worth it. I won't let fear compromise who I am... a paragon Shep said it once...

Yea, but I don't want him to die : | Turns out I'm a renegate myself.: D But honestly, as long as the reapers exist...they are still a threat and may one day return, even if Shepard is in control.

Every option is Genocide...

Red - Relays kill everyone, stranded aliens in Sol kill eachother for resources if they can explain why the relay did not kill them, shepherd lives to die in race war assuming they explain why Earth survive the explosion of the Charon Relay.
Blue - Control Reapers, everyone dies from relay explosion
Green - You force everyone to be same race (what nices guys do) then they die in Relay Explosion

In all crew somehow lives on planet either with EDI (until Batteries run out) without EDI cause all Synthetics are dead or the final one, No one will ever need a flashlight cause they glow green and Joker and EDI have robot babies who are found in an Epitaph to "The Shepherd" prophet of Genocide or Forced Homogenization.

Id say the destroy earth option is best ending. Get 1500 points or less to destroy earth. That is my nest ending. Everyone is gathered there so everyone dies. Thats the best ending. Np survivors no one left to fight. Just an empty galaxy. Far, far away.

If you sided with Quarians during the Rannoch arc and being a jerk to EDI, perhaps it would make the Destroy option much more "desirable". It's not a perfect ending, because the citadel gets blow-up, but at least it's more consistent with the choices you made throughout the game.

I've been a full paragon all the time, ended the war between The Geth and Quarians and been nice to EDI...and  every time I reach London I feel like Shep's going to his funeral. All the farewells etc. So for me red ending is closets to "happy"...even though EDI and Geth are dead.

Since when did the relay explosion kill everyone?

Besides...destroy is what Anderson would have done, and I trust him.

The one where you blow up the mass relays and either vaporize or starve everyone to death. What's that you say? I just described ALL of the endings? Well I guess they are all just terrible then, aren't they?

Destruction is RED
Control is BLUE
Assuming Control
This hurts you!

Destruction.  Cannot picture my Shep doing anything else.

They are all bad options. All of them.

If blue was explained more it might be a ****ty but acceptable one, but currently... yeah, all bad.

I find it sad that we have people asking this question, a good ending makes this apparent.

That's my biggest problem, I'm okay with sacrificing Shepard's life. But none of the endings is worthy of a Paragon's sacrifice.

Red is renegade because you chose to kill a whole form of life for expediency. You're just like the reapers.

Blue is renegade because all through the series you've been fighting people who want to have the power of a god. TIM and Saren. Miranda's Dad. The creators of the genophage. In all cases the series showed that this eventually corrupts the seeker. Shepard will eventually become nucking futs just like the spacekid.

And Green is just stupid. I will only ever chose this if the expanded ending shows Urz and a Fenris Mech having puppies.

Cerberus wanted to control the Reapers in order to use them to have power over the other races but paragon Shepard doesn't want control for power. He's not even going to live to exercise constant control. That choice is just about giving them a command to leave the Galaxy and never come back. No chance of anything despotic. Nobody gets hurt or has their genetic structure violated.

My Shepard would die to save EDI and the Geth so I reckon paragon is definitely control.
