Agreed. Couldn't have possibly said it better. We care because we are fans and love your work. We WANT to be on your side, but seriously.... between this and all the other issues (SP EMS enough for 'best' ending bullhooey), you are making it very VERY hard for us.

Considering that we won't see it until the summer, that isn't surprising one bit. People need to chill out. They have nothing to show more than likely, and talking about it would probably spoil it.
Pretty much this.
People need to calm down.
They want to avoid the mistake of promising anything they can't deliver. They've seen where that got them before...
Better they start learning that lesson now than never.
They can offer information without promising anything.
Well, I meant that it is doable.

I think the most frustrating part for those of us severely disappointed with ME3's ending is that we have almost no recourse. The only legitimate option is to not purchase any further BioWare products. That works in the long run, at least at a personal level, but since they are pimped out by EA now they will still have the resources and marketing to generate appeal to the masses.
Our beloved franchise is in ruins. And we can hold the line all we want, but BioWare has staked their position. Let them enjoy it. We will move on to other games from other companies. There is a gaping, starving void for a sprawling sci-fi RPG. We need that now. A savvy group of devs should jump on this opportunity.[/quote]
I was not happy when there was no Descent Freespace 3. There will always be another series. I just hope it's as well written as ME1, ME2, Jade Empire, and KOTOR.

i think most fans actually just want one thing...
an ending fitting for the mass effect trilogy.
seems like they should've been able to pull this off.
Coulda, woulda, shoulda
Honestly if we can't fight Harbinger and there's no gameplay, well then it better be a lengthy cutscene(atleast 10 minutes to show the final battle and closure for every plotline, species and character)...
I'm saying this Extended Cut should show Cutscenes of all of our choices coming to fruition. All of the results of our decisions played out in spectacular cinematic fashion....Grunt and Wrex back to back with Claymores in hand, kicking Brute a**, right along side Salarian StGs and Turians....the Rachni Queen in all her fury, while her "children" eat a Reaper from the inside out.....
There should atleast be a scene of the Destiny Ascension and/or the Normandy taking on Harbinger (maybe the DA kamikazes Harby, Star Trek style?)....either way Harbinger needs to make an appearance or atleast Speak!
There should be L.I. specific scenes(if Shepard survives): Tali gets her house built, blue babies or a knocked up Liara carrying Shepard's legacy....Jack, Miranda, Ashley etc etc.....
I never wanted or needed a happy ending....I just wanted my choices to matter and for the consequences of them to play out in front of me....instead, they railroaded the entire Decision Tree that's been branching out over 3 full games....I wanted varying endings based on my decisions as promised....
But if Bioware is going to take this turd back, stick it in the microwave and gift wrap it in tin foil to keep it warm, and then hand it back to us....you're damn straight I want my happy ending....

I noticed hes being rather.... mocking tonight.
Clearly he's a master at PR.
He's been mocking and insulting to people who didn't like the ending ever since this whole thing started, this isn't anything new, he just feels more entitled to it now.
Clarification: I'm not "going after" Mr. Woo at all, I'm just stating my personal interperations of his recent posting activity, and to me he has come off as insulting and mocking to anyone who has a problem with the ending.

BIOWARE think about this
IF we saved the original council and the DA, they will sacrifice the DA to kamikazi Harbinger to fullfill an old dept for saving them from Sovereign in ME1
Saving the Normandy as Harby is about to destroy it with a nice goodbye trough the QE comm from the Asari council thanking Shepard and alliance for saving their butts twice (ME1&Udina`s coup)
That would be brilliant

They afraid we will hurt their artisic vision
Games are art that require direct interaction. Without me, the game would just sit in the box. To that note, Mass Effect is a personalized story. I'm an "artist" too in my own rights because my story is partially shaped by my hand. My "artistic vision" would never have Shepard bend over and take it from the Reapers or that creepy little kid. Of course I can't force anything on them. As well, they shouldn't with me. The consumers have spoken. They should pass more along at Pax. It's only going to hurt them more.

Just leave them sitting in silence.
Barring that can someone going to PAX East quickly whip up a bunch of Maruader Shields t-shirts to hand out to everyone who goes into the Bioware event?
