Get off your high horse Bioware, you're being ridiculous.

They won't talk about the ending DLC. Ok fine. But will they talk about the endings we got? I want to know. If not...

That's a PR suicide.

It seems they don't get it. Bioware, you can say "we're sorry, we made a mistake, but please stick with us". Not everyone will agree, but it will be a lot better than what you're doing right now.

I am an amateur writer and if everyone said the ending of my story was really bad, I would discuss about it.

I hope it's EA's fault and their PR ********. Sorry for the foul language. Please Bioware. Just own up to your mistakes.

CCP's CEO (EVE online game) did it. And the fans were happy.

Yes, exact details would be a good start...

The worst part is, for a great many people, nothing else matters unless they fix the endings so there is no point in talking about anything else until the ending issue is covered. In this light, I am having a hard time figuring out what they are going to talk about...

Hmm...they won't be discussing the endings at PAX? I propose the following reaction: everyone who's attending the panel stays silent.

I think if someone asked them about it in an angrily manner an easy way to deflect the whole thing without people throwing their shoes at them would be to say " No data available " while staring at the person who asked.

I think even the most strong willed retaker would have a hard time focusing on holding the line after that :P

Oh wow, oh lol, oh COME ON. I mean really? No details? Ok, i'm out now. It's been a beautiful 5 years ME team, it's been a beautiful 15 years Bioware. I'm out.

That was a blunder. To drop that bomb the day before PAX and then also announce no discussion will be allowed - I don't know what they are thinking.

Not discussing the ending or the extended cut? That's stupid. Do they really think people would want to listen to them talk about multiplayer, new weapon packs and new SP mission that won't really matter because we all know how it ends?

Look Bioware. All I want right now is to know what you mean by "expand and clarify." I get it you're not changing the ending. But what I really want to know is how you define "expand." Does it mean you're just going to show us additional scenes with the Starbrat? Does it mean you'll explain why Joker was running away but the Normandy will still crash with their fate unknown or will you show us what happened with the crew after they crashed?

Oh....oh boy....
I mean the whole 'releasing the statement just before the panel' thing was an obvious attempt at pushing off the issue just as they were about to face fans directly, but. MEOW..
PAX later today:

I think people should wear round, colored masks with giant A B or C on 'em. When BW would want to pick a question they would have to choose... A B or C :D

Imagine, a room full of buttons :] that would rock!

Don't worry...
They said we wouldn't be getting an A, B or C ending nor would there be a Reaper Off Switch.

So we can assume that they are lying here and we can ask all the questions we want.

there's no way that they can keep fans at bay over this. If there are any good fans going, they will get answers.

It might be hard to discuss the ending DLC when it's unlikely to have been written. I hope they'll at least answer to the endings that we got.

I just hope fans stay civil at PAX and don't do anything drastic.

But does that also mean every answer they're giving is the exact opposite of the truth?

Fan:"Will there be new endings?"

BioWare:"No"

Fan:"Whahoo! New endings!!"

Well, it's not written yet... so they CAN'T. Or did you expect to just whip it up by some kind of... wait for it.. space magic!?

Bosh'tet....>.> I mean, if you announce a DLC which is supposed to address ppl's problem with the ending, yet don't even talk about it at your panel. How are you supposed to ease ppl's minds? You might as well be giving the fanbase the bird. How are they going to avoid talk about the ending when that is the topic that is given the most attention when talking about ME3?

Maybe "Oh we have a multiplayer dlc pack coming in"...."BOOOO" Seriously, I only play multiplayer if friends ask me to. Mass Effect 3 is not the game that I find has the best multiplayer.

Eh, took them 5 minutes to come up with the endings as they are, I'm sure they can think of something.
