"Can you say something about the endings!"
"We cannot say anything about the endings at this time."
"Can you say anything about the DLC!"
"We cannot talk about upcoming DLC at this time. ...Does anyone have any non-endings or DLC-related questions?"
*awkward silence*
*sympathetic cough from somewhere in the audience*
"...So, who was your favorite Mass Effect character?"

Ok, I can understand not wanting to go into details about the "DLC" but sheesh... ignoring it all together?
Yeah, that's gonna end well.
can you honestly blame them?
look at the outcome after the dlc was announced today
no matter what they say fans are gona still be the same if not worse.
tbh and im not saying this to be funny but i wouldnt be suprised if the bioware panel was protected by security because some fans can indeed be a bit out of controll
It's simple.
ADD NEW DAMN ENDINGS. Rage gone.
They're getting rage because they didn't do what was asked but tried a tangential approach - that doesn't work, it never works, it has never worked, it will never work.
I appreciate, truly appreciate, them doing this for free...but don't waste your time developing something that doesn't attack the meat of the issue. Make a proper damn go of it and charge me $10.
And don't give me this "artistic integrity" crap. You allowed a writer who wasn't even involved in the inception of the series to seclude himself in a room and write the ending solo. YOU violated any artistic integrity or credibility by allowing the omission of the rest of your writing team in the production of arguably the most important part of the narrative.
Fix it, charge me $10.

Wow, first they tell us they are going to keep the garbage endings, then refuse to talk about them?
Seriously, what is wrong with this picture?
By not talking about it they hope that even if it's bad people will still hold hope that it's good.

Any Attending Gamer can use this Panel to help imply to the Developers and other guys in the panel how thin the ice their on at the moment.
All they need to do is not clap when the panel starts. Keep asking questions about why the ending inserts a character that had nothing to do with the other 2 games and your giving 3 options that are obviously traps intended by the reapers to control the outcome of the last cycle.
Basically all three ending means betraying people and if you played SHepered as someone who would never betray anyone you don't have the option of putting your faith in your allies and not the Reaper or a being using an image of someone the Commander feel guilt over.
I do wonder if the entire crowd start's booing would that give a bigger reactoin. Bioware needs to save face and talk to the gamers about the problem now. Instead of say their listening to the post's on the forum. If they ask the question face to face with their panel they may get something done or at least make us less angry at them.
So far their just making us even more angry at them.
This maybe the fist time the Gamers are actually organizing together because they dislike a story and forming a boycott because of this.
You know there are going to be trolls, pro-enders (ie the vocal minority), and possibly plants getting up and saying, "I'm a Mass Effect fan and I just wanted you to know that I loved the ending. Don't change a thing."
*Cue thunderous applause from reporters*

Of course they won't. Leavingthe announcement till now was a blatent PR stunt to try and take the flack off themselves.
Keep applying the flack.
Of course it is. They were banking on the announment defusing the consumers. But the only thing I can think of them getting out of saying they won't talk about it is the onsumers that keep asking comming out on the wrong side of this.
Not the best idea continuing to demonize the consumers, but it's been the plan so far.

LOL. Yes, I can blame them.
Their refusal to talk about it in any substantial way is what's fueling the fire. Obviously they can't please everyobdy, but they are handling this in the worst possible way.
Just get up there at PAX tomorrow and give a little more info: WHAT will be clarified. WHAT will be added?
Saying nothing and trying to hock multiplayer crap isn't going to sate anyone.

*sigh. I can't believe they're just going to completely ignore it. Perhaps they didn't want to get booed at their own panel by bringing up
Instead they'll be booed for refusing to talk about it.
Maybe next time they should just create a good ending.
That whole "lots of speculation" seems like a krap plan in hindsight doesn't it bioware?
