So then....what the hell are they going to talk about?
Multiplayer and Omega dlc, and act like everyone cares about it.
Maybe Dragon Age III, they might try to drown out everything with that.
Dragon age 3 has its own panel.
There is a panel specifically for mass effect.
And boy, they are going to get bombarded if they didn't buy up all the seats.

You can't, as far as I know. The twitch.tv live stream of the PAX event will be broadcasting something that no one cares about during that time segment.blooregard wrote...
can somebody tell me where I can watch this panel live so I have a good laugh
@ Anyone attending PAX: Don't take no for an answer. If the questions actually are opened up to the public and aren't just a bunch of pre-screened PR B.S. off of twitter/plants/etc., then keep hammering away about the ending. Even if someone else already asked the question you were going to ask, ask it again. Even if they deflect all ending questions, keep asking them. Don't just walk away silently into the night.

All I want is some honesty, no more hiding behind PR talk and "artistic integrity" just talk to us. Tell us how you came up with the ending, how you felt when the backlash about the ending first hit, etc. Just talk to us. I know their a buisness and need to take the proper steps for this situation, but damn im tired of bioware/EA sounding like a bunch if robots. Honesty!!
This is was really gets me. Artists don't talk about their work like robots.
Smart businesses don't either.

I mean, I even liked the endings and I don't want to buy Omega DLC.
I would be down for some MP stuff though. I'm totally addicting to MP.

Oh the **** storm has already started.
I feel the need to put on a biohazard suit.
When I heard all they were planning to do was expand a bit on the ending as it is I can say I honestly wasn't surprised but I was still disappointed. I don't know how they can possibly explain away those Reaper sized plot holes in the end. I guess I'll just wait and see but my expectations are pretty low. I was sitting on my insanity playthrough to wait for whatever changes they had in mind but I think I may just finish it and move on.

I can't see how anyone is surprised by this. This is exactly why the announced the DLC like they did. Now they don't even have to deflect, they can decide the topic of conversation because anyone asking will just be painted as "hard of hearing".
As much as EA and Bioware finally had to relent just this once they are now back in the saddle of PR.
They totally control the narrative and the retakers are bickering about what to make of the ending DLC. We can't gain more headway than we did by getting them to release free content and rearrange the schedule. (somethign that is huge when considering how EA usually operates).
And to be honest, we can't do much until we know exactly how it plays out. And byt he time it does, it won't matter anymore. ME3 won't be a story anywhere in the media landscape and perhaps not even online except in some gamedesign classes and in the minds of the few people on this world who still value a good rpg.
We won the battle but have probably lost the war. We can only hope it's a pyrrhic victory for EA. IF EA crashes then maybe a better investor/publisher can buy Bioware.
Well said. And come "summer" they can/will further delay any backlash and say, "You'll just have to wait for (and $buy$) the next game, where the rest of the story unfolds."

I will laugh if the time in the DA panel is spent with BioWare "fans" asking about Mass Effect endings.
I mean, they will finally be face to face with BioWare!! Ask away!

So the panel is being canceled? I don't think you're going to get many other questions. Unless BioWare just seeds the audience with it's own people to ask pre-written questions. There's evidence to say they did it on these forums, and politicians regularly do it at press confrences. And then they'll spin it to look like we are capitulating.
There will still be plenty questions. Half of which will be people trying to find ways to ask about the DLC without being obvious about it and the other half being multiplayer questions.
Then a handful of other smaller questions/gripes about the main game.
Lastly there will be some chuckles about ME4 and ME MMO.
"MMO, I don't think so *giggle*" "ME4?, well we love the ME universe and would love to give fans more story so don't be surprised if we revisit the wonderful world of ME galaxy *chuckle*"

Jessica Merzan has already tweeted today that the endings will include a possibility of Shep reuniting with the crew, and the possibility of rebuilding the mass relays, depending on the ending. So, either she's fanwanking based on what's already there--"if there are dead reapers you have plenty of reaper tech, and Shep can live if you have enough war assets!"--or giving some pretty significant details on what we can expect to see when this is released.
I was leaning on the latter, but it's starting to look like more of the same old "That's how your story ends if you choose to interpret it that way!" nonsense. No offense, JM, but I don't want to have to fill in the blanks in order to make the ending feel complete.
I want a complete ending.
And I want it to make SENSE.
