It's funny, because I can't think of a TV show or movie I've watched, with a bad ending comparable to Mass Effect 3's ending, where fans complained endlessly until the show's creators produced any content, whatsoever, to address their concerns.  

However, it's worth noting that they are completely re-doing Mass Effect: Deception, I believe.  That's a book, though, which doesn't warrant the same cost or resources to completely make over again.

It's clarifying it.  Y'know, because between Arrival and the basic galactic map, the main implications of the ending are that Joker is a goddamn coward and that destroying the relays both unleashes unprecedented galactic devastation and traps the council fleets around earth, whereupon everyone starves to death.

Apparently that's not what they meant at all.  =/

I am upset that they have decided not to tweak the ending a bit but I can also understand that this os how they wanted it to go. I am/was upset with how the ending is I am a huge mass effect fan and was up set that all the choices i have made throughout the series was just none existing in the final what 10 minutes but in bioware's defense at least they listened to us and are giving us some clarification on what's what. I wish they went another way with how it ended but they felt it was right. Also another thing I have been reading a lot about this indoctrination ending and it sounds logical but what about the vi on thessia when it takes off from Kai leng and says indoctrinated presence or something like that why would it not detect it in shepard just a thought.
