While I do not agree at some points with IT fans for example, those people made a lot of videos and writing to explain why they feel the way they feel about endings. A person who made the vid in my signature did great job explaining why he thinks endings are bad, without IT. But Ididn't see anything like that from people who liked endings. Just "why u no understand they are great" or "I like they are grim"...

sorry buddy but you cant expect me to let you label me as something im not and not do the same to you, seriously if you just realised that other peoples opinions matter then no one would be getting nasty here?? also whats the point in creating a thread to discuss this issue and hear other peoples opinions if your just going to label them as trolls or flamers and say theyre all wrong??? and also youve kind of shot yourself in the foot....you say you want the lore done some justice or whatever.....well what do you think bio is doing with this dlc, your making completely irrational predictions about something that you know nothing about yet, i say just give bio a chance to fix it and see how they do this....and if it does turn out to be a complete load of rubbish like the current endings then i will definitely be the first to say im extremely dissapointed!

The ending has nothing to do with opinions. Loose ends were made, plot holes created, and closure was not given. That's not my opinion, it's a fact.

Cause after being sarcastic for one post, you think i'm sarcastic in all of them.


Here is the problems with what you posted.

1) you presume everyone is on your side on this and you are doing them a service in warning them, condesdending in the beginning.

2) your main point, that they said wait and see on things you found offensive, is subjective. The problem is that most of those changes put forth as they said wait and see were fixed to the degree it would placate some users. 

But what it seems like, is that you are taking this for a factual problem, which is simply not the case.

3) A majority of the post was just pure bashing and made for a singular purpose. To encite people. You gave three examples that are subjective and put it forth as fact, then make a call to arms for a cause. So it seems to work real well, since it got people to read your thread.

Demo is meant to be that,, a demo. The graphics won't be that super high-end WOW that a full game will have. I have never known ANY demo to have that.

a salient point a lot missed was actually how well the game performs on sub systems with such good graphics.

The game was also always graphically weak, ever since Mass Effect 1, so that is less of a complaint and more of a quirk of the Unreal 3 engine. It was also not the point, as the gameplay in 3 was real good, as advertised by the demo.

Here is the problems with what you posted.

You argued that us fans got what we wanted because the other games also gave you choices at the endings. These choices, however, were not made in the presence of the biggest contradictory plot device, the star child, Mass Effect has ever seen.

In choosing to save the council or not, you leave either Humanity in the seat of the council, or you keep the council alive in hopes that now they'll owe you, and help you stop the Reapers. In saving the the collector base, you run the risk of Cerberus misusing it or not. These choices are there to tally up in the finale, in your own Shepard's story. 

What we got was not that. We got the same story that either had main characters that we kept alive, or had replacements (or none at all) that wouldn't be able to do enough. Side characters just had small dialogues. If you kill the Rachni queen, the Reapers just FIND another.

Our choices boiled down to nothing as each time you finish Mass Effect 3 you get the same ending. A game that prided itself on choice gives you none at the most vital moment of the series.

My personal thoughts on this is that Mass Effect is a product. Art has everything included from day one. Nobody has to buy Mona Lisa's mouth if I remember correctly. Bioware has negated their artistic integrity. They don't listen. They give us what we think will shut us up. If they are going to continue this arrogance, I hear CD Project is actually doing well.

Contrary to my point, in which everybody complained about the lazy animations and poor graphics. BSN users told people to calm down, and wait, assuring us that when the game came out, the animations would be fixed, and the graphics would be much better.

They were not. The horrible animations still exist. The lazy texturing is still there. The final product is no different than the demo, which is what we were told to "Wait and see!"
