Wow, yeah, I remember thinking "It'll be hard to boycott EA if something goes wrong, because I'm sure there's a bunch of their games I'd be itching to try," but looking at that list... I had zero interest in any of those games before now, anyway.  So, thanks, EA, for making this a lot easier.

I will buy Madden 13, but it will be a used copy. Nothing else on that list though, or any future products.

The only problem I have on that list is the Sims, my wife is a junkie. She buys all the DLC and there is no way I can do a thing about that, I already tried to talk to her about it and I got the eye. It's a weird situation as she completely hates EA but is hooked on the product. She warned me they would ruin Bioware.

I thought DA3 was out soon enough to be on that list for some reason. Hrm.., Nothing at all on there I'd want anyway. Have EA really not got anything more interesting coming out? Only thing there I was even slightly interested in was The Secret World, and even then I had only a passing interest.

Just so you know games like Overstrike are developed by Insomniac Games. You want to make a difference you won't. but I'll indulge in your mind for a second and pose a question for you. trying to hurt EA, you will hurt gaming and every company along with them, thus ruining gaming as a whole. If that's your wish, why don't you just get another hobby and save even more money?

 I'm with the crowd that was already frustrated enough with their PR BS to not buy anything EA or Bioware even if I'm perfectly satisfied with their answer to the problem.  In the words of a former president

"Fool me once........you can't fool me again"

i didnt buy a single thing from ea before they consumed bioware because all of their games have sucked ass. i didnt buy mass effect by ea, i bought mass effect by bioware. i didnt buy the sims and it's first 3 expansion packs from ea, i bought the sims and it's first 3 expansion packs by maxis. i didn't buy blade runner (the pc game inspired from the movie, both of which were *awesome*) by ea, i bought blade runner by westwood. so i'll gladly continue to 'vote with my wallet' if it means doing what i've always done.

I think DA3 is not until December.  But they will probabli kill all 3 main characters you have been working on throughout the story and call it artistic vision too.

After the announcement I have changed my mind. Not only will I not be pre-ordering, I will not be buying anything with an EA logo from this point forward. I doubt it will have any effect on them overall, but meh. It's my money and I don't have to give it to them.
