Just so you know games like Overstrike are developed by Insomniac Games. You want to make a difference you won't. but I'll indulge in your mind for a second and pose a question for you. trying to hurt EA, you will hurt gaming and every company along with them, thus ruining gaming as a whole. If that's your wish, why don't you just get another hobby and save even more money?

Or maybe EA will lose it's deathgrip on small studios that make the games we love.  Cut out the corporate middleman, create a new paradigm.  Unintended consequences, all that trash.

Same here. The titles look lame. Oh wait I could get The sims 3 game and have some fun:devil:

Oh but that would give EA money so nope.

Gonna have to buy the Kingdoms of Amalur DLC even if EA gets a cut, gotta support my local game company. Still, 38 Studios offers a good amount of stuff for the price in their DLCs.

Copying and pasting this to my desk. From now on any Bioware/EA title comes from bargain bins or not at all.

Easiest boycott ever. The only thing I ever bought from EA was bioware products.

I will also not be purchasing anymore EA games. If they don't care about their audience then they can have an audience that doesn't care about them.

OP, I definitely agree with you.  I'm hoping I'll be satisfied by the ME3 extended cut, but regardless I'm going to be very careful what I buy, IF I buy any future games from EA.  I've already refused to buy future incarnations one of my first PC game franchises that I fell in love with, The Sims, and now it seems like I will be adding more to that boycott list or rent/buy used list.

I had hopes for SimCity too, but I'm worried they're gonna do with that what they did with the Sims in Sims 3.  Apparently, where EA is involved, third time is not necessarily the charm...

Same here, my friend.  Same here.  I would have liked SSX, but it's got the same premium in game money model (buy game money with real money).

I think what bothers me the most about every new EA game nowadays is that they have this model.  It started with The Sims 3.  Now apparently they think it's a genius thing to do for every game.

this, if anything its a necessary sacrifice big publishers are doing as much as as they are good. The market will correct and rebuild.

Well I have generally tried to avoid EA titles whenever possible, so I have no problems in boycotting these presented titles.

Because everyone who plans to boycott EA and hates how ME3's ending was treated has posted in this thread before you commented and posts on the BSN forums.

BTW, in case you didn't know, THAT was sarcasm. :wizard:

None of those games interested me even before ME3 came out.

I bought the whole lot of SIMS 3 games recently though, OH NOES! And I'm enjoying them too! TREACHERY!

Meh.
