I can wait for DS3. Glad they're putting the idea forth of not putting less then a year on it.

Wow, with a lineup like that, EA may be filing for bankruptcy soon. They better announce something impressive at E3, or they are doomed.

It would be good for gaming after the initial shock.  Their stock keeps diving lower and lower.

Would kind of suck when they pull the plug on the Origin servers and none of us are able to play any of the games we purchased from them.

Mostly because EA is indefensible.  Buying a product that they keep and control doesn't seem right to me.

Heres the fair deal. I will let them know what I like and what is good by purchasing it. I will not buy anything that is rubbish or something they messed up. I will buy the BF3 Close Quarters DLC, if it's good. I might buy Madden 13 if it's good. EA if your listening, I will buy stuff from you if you let the developers make it the best they can and allow them that much. This much I've learned, from this point on I have stopped pre-ordering their games or buying them on release day. I'm not out to hurt them, I'm just being a cautious consumer.

The only problem I have on that list is the Sims, my wife is a junkie. She buys all the DLC and there is no way I can do a thing about that, I already tried to talk to her about it and I got the eye. It's a weird situation as she completely hates EA but is hooked on the product. She warned me they would ruin Bioware.

You haven't suggested she be MoreAwesomeThanYou? She can buy the Diesel and Sweet Treats packs used if she wants them (that's what I'm doing) so that EA doesn't get a dime from the resale.

How do you not buy something that's rubbish if you don't know it's rubbish before you buy it? No one had any idea ME 3 was going to end that way and quite a few people never would have bought it had they known, but you don't get a luxury like that with video games.

True, but I pre-ordered ME3.  I will just have to wait longer and listen to "user" feedback.

I wasn't trying to defend EA. I only have two games from them, so I wouldn't be hit too hard. Once again, the people that actually spend money on games are going to get fracked over, while the people that pirated them will continue playing like nothing happened. Yay.

I could easily refrain from buying these games, but if Dead Space 3 comes out, there is no way I will be able to hold back. I NEED that ****ing game.

Not buying any of that.

All I want this year is Dishonored and Far Cry 3.

The only non-Bioware games published by EA that I've played recently is the Dead Space series, and I can live without purchasing the next installment.

In case an EA employee happens to browse this thread, you will not get a dime out of me until you start putting customer loyalty and service above greedy business ethics. Sure, I'll buy your games used if I really want to play them, but for pre-ordering and buying new? Nah, I'm tired of supporting a company that bleeds the life and creativity out of top quality developers.

As if it's hard to copy-past all the EA games into a thread.
