Seems I've encountered abit of a bug, it's my 2nd playthrough and I've got Morrigan's approval up to 86 but it's still at "Warm". And the kiss option still hasn't come up.
 
If it helps I'm in Orzammar, flirting with Leiliana (Approval +79, Status: Care) and I've already given her the golden mirror.

Anyone else experienced this yet? Advice? It irks me that I have to spend the rest of the game with the crazy nun

If you are involved in a romance with another character before romancing Morrigan then you get stuck in the friends.zone.   You'll have to dump Leliana to start things with Morrigan.

Leliana however has no problem falling for you while you're involved with Morrigan.....  Kinda wierd that way

I've encountered this situation a few times too. Not sure exactly what happens, but I've hypothesized that something you do or say early on influences this. In your case it's probably a bit late, but what ended up working for me was to reload and do Lothering again, and basically not speaking to any companions while there. I recruited Leliana but didn't talk to her. Then after Lothering when you end up in the camp, talk to Morrigan a few times about growing up in the Wilds etc, give her a gift or two, and you should be able to kiss her. If that works everything should be set and you can talk to whoever.



Still, that's based on there being an actual trigger. It could just be a random bug.

I just had the same thing happen to me last night.  Apparently even if you put Leliana in the friends zone you can restart the romance by completing her quest and choosing the right options when talking to her about it later on.  We went from just friends to her tent in one two conversations.  I might have left it that way but A)  I'm commited to finishing my first play though with Morrigan (I'm a sucker for tragic love stories) and Waking up after knocking boots to find Leliana watching you while you sleep was kinda creepy considering the situation.....

You can get Morrigan to kiss you in Lothering, but you have to take the "flirty" dialogue options like "you can probe me any time you like" ... if you don't take those, you'll get your approval high enough to be "warm", but friend-zoned. There may be other opportunities later in the game where you can get out of the friend-zone, but your safest bet is to tell her she can probe you, and then just take the obvious choices for dialogue to increase approval - you'll get to "interested" fairly quickly from there. If you stop at the camp on the way to Lothering, you can get her approval high enough to kiss her and then sleep with her that first night, heh.

If Morrigan is in love with you she won't join your tent.

have u already done the circle?? The mirror and grimoire are big approvals for morrigan, whenever I give her either it bumps her up one warm to care or care to adore and so on (if you kill flemmeth she will fall in love with you and wont sleep with you)
