People told me I wouldn't be able to admit when Bioware told me IT was not true and asked if I would apologize..

So here it is.
I'm sorry I pushed indoctrination theory.
I'm sorry for the false hope I may have gave to you.
I'm sorry for when I portrayed IT as truth and not theory.
I'm sorry for implying that people who could not see it were confused
I'm sorry for saying you were wrong for thinking bad writing was the problem (turns out it is)

So there. To all of those who got comfort from thinking IT would solve thier confusion, i'm sorry for letting you down and plopping you back into the same pit of sorrow you came from, now with even more dissapointment.

I originally wanted to say sorry to Bioware, but they will never get that response now.

EDIT ADD:
I may not have been the first, but I was here from the start of it and was one of the major supporters of it. Not trying to claim that all the creativity behind it was from me. Many contributed to its great ideas.

You meant well, and it's not your fault Bioware just isn't willing to spend the money to complete the game with an ending worthy of the franchise.

I don't think you have anything to apologize for. You're not the one that messed the game up. You just tried to make gold out of lead. I applaud your efforts.

Even if this ending DLC completely destroys the indoctrination theory I'll just refuse to buy it and continue on with the IT theory and remain in my own blissful little headcanon.

Hey I wish it had been something other than what we got, and IT was as good as any alternative.
It isn't easy realising we're stuck with this as the end to our 5 year long saga.

People complained about 'speculation' and now they're getting more, at the expense of all those who showed great creative vision since this debate began.

Dont be sorry. Its an incredible theory and one that I thought Bioware might run with. The ending was terrible writing. The IT (at least for me) was the remedy for a month.

Don't be sorry. You're awesome.

BioWare should be sorry. They're idiotic.

IT was impressive. Though i never believed it. In my opinion it was always a fan creation. It was better than what we got but it was clearly something fans made to try to salvage the utterly horrid ending.

People are upset at Bioware, not you. You were just trying to make the best out of a bad situation, nobody is blaming you for it. We're all in the same boat here.

The only thing you did was believe in Bioware and their ability to tell a great story, and I think we all believed that.

No need.

Besides, I don't think IT is completely out of the question.

We all wanted to believe Bioware still had it in them. Optimistic denial is natural.

I intend to use IT as my headcanon of choice. I'm glad I heard of it.

Takes something to admit you were wrong, especially on the net.

If only certain others were like you *coughHudson&Walterscough*

As someone who didn't believe in the IT, I say there is no need to apologize. You actually came up with a better idea for an ending then Bioware did! You should be proud of that. Now lets put all this aside and keep working on getting our better ending.

I never believed the IT, but I certainly understand why people wanted to believe in it. At least we can now all see the endings for what they are.

One of the greatest strengths of character in my opinion is to admit error after being grievously wrong.

You always seemed like a cool guy to me, don't feel bad about it. Wrong happens.
