I never believed the the IT to be true, but I sure as hell WANTED it to be. Nothing wrong with throwing yourself headlong into an ideal as long as it doesn't come at the cost of others. Sh*t(ty endings) happens, man. Nothing for it.

I didn't believe Indoc Theory was the intended ending, though I did think it was likely in an earlier draft and pieces made it through (there are too many little tidbits that seem to support it for me to outright dismiss it). I had wondered before I even heard the theory or finished the game if it would turn out that Shepard might turn out to be indoctrinated.

I don't think you need to apologise in anyway (Bioware on the other hand...). Headcanon seems to be the only way to get a decent ending now.

Though I didn't believe the indoctrination theory, I do think it was a better idea for an ending that what we got. If anyone should be apologizing, it's BioWare, not you. But thanks for the thought! You are a bigger man than BioWare obviously for admitting your mistakes.

So there. To all of those who got confort from thinking IT would solve thier confusion, i'm sorry for letting you down and plopping you back into the same pit of sorrow you came from, now with even more dissapointment.

I originally wanted to say sorry to Bioware, but they will never get that response now.

I may not have been the first, but I was here from the start of it and was one of the major supporters of it. Not trying to claim that all the creativity behind it was from me. Many conributed to its great ideas.

If the Reapers really wanted to indoctrinate Comander Shepard all they needed was hypnotoad. No fancy technology but.... Must control Reapers! Must go to Santuary and control them! I am not indoctrinated. Honest.
