I'm not sure. There's almost no information about what it will even be about, other than "No Shepard or Shepard 2.0" so I've got nothing to go on. If it ends up being what Dragon Age 2 was to Dragon Age, then no, I wont be purchasing it. If it ends up looking interesting, I'll be willing to hear more.

Clearly thier refusal to listen to us on the fact that the endings are dreadful is a pretty clear indcator they want to make ME4. My question is, will you buy the game Bioware destroyed thier credit to set up?

To be fair, if your choice at the end of ME3 creates 3 ENTIRELY SEPERATE stories and worlds within ME4, I might consider it. But given the quality of ME3 ending as well as thier response to the controversy, I can't see that happeneing.

Just to be clear here, you're saying that I should take the fact that BioWare didn't cave into the demands of an indeterminate number of people that didn't like the ending for various reasons as an indicative of the diraction they will take ME4 in? And what direction is that exactly?

Just curious.

I will buy the Limited Edition. I love Mass Effect. 10 minutes won't destroy 5 years of love.

Yes, of course I'll buy it. However, as opposed to ME3, which I pre-ordered (and aside from Assassin's Creed 3 is the only game I've ever pre-ordered or paid over $50 for), I will take the more prudent approach and wait for it to dip down to the $20-30 range.

Depends really, I'm not gonna be an ignorant bias zealot and discount it before I even know what it's about, nor will I be a blind faitheful zealot and buy it outright with no questions asked.

If it sets up an interesting story and keeps the universe the same but takes the story in a different direction like the ledgend of korra did for the last air bender, than yes I will buy it.

If it's another of these "we gotta make it like the others, but biggah!" where it's the exact same story expect with an even bigger and even more unknown threat to the entire galaxy that not even the reapers knew about and you gotta play in the alliance and find a "not prothean" artifact and get their mental imprint to dechipher the clues and defeat the space eldar gods here, than no, that will just be a really sad thing to play, like going to a concert of a really good band from a long time ago and having them come out in wheelchairs and walker canes and try to sing and preform with voices that long since blown out.

As long as it does not turn into a multiplayer game then sure. Enjoyed 2&3 and will happily plunk down the $ again.

Yep. This right here.

Same here, if by that time I have the money, I'll buy the CE*.

* As long as the game looks good and it's not a 100% MP game.

I can't say that I absolutely won't buy it without knowing anything about it first. That said, I have no intention of purchasing at this time. ME3 was a huge letdown in the story department for me, and not just the ending either.

So it's a tentative "no" for the time being.

No preorder, and certainly no collector's edition. But, I will read customer reviews and then make my decision after the fact.

Yep, immediately so long as it is an RPG/Shooter hybrid. If they change it completely to an RTS or something else all bets are off.

I will make that determination when more info comes to light and multiplayer remains secondary.

^ This.  At this point we only know that it's set in the same universe, and while that's a general positive for me it's also not enough to base an overall judgement on.  If, when there's actual information released,  it looks entertaining, I'll buy it.  If it doesn't, I won't.

We shall see.

Short answer:

No.

Why?:

- Because Drew isn't the lead writer
- Casey is a sellout for the "next generation of gamers"

-They dumped a great deal of original content and theories

- Bioware is now a **** for money

- Mass Effect 3 didn't end yet, so I need a confirmed ending before I move on from Shepards story

- It can't be set in the future (ME4/5/6) because ME3 didn't end and they confirmed they will not convert save files to 4/5/6 (choices etc don't matter) meaning the entire vibe was pre-set and retarded

- Can't be in the past because we already know the prequel ends with Mass Effect 1 beginning so it doesn't matter if we play through the First Contact War or anything as the books/games told the story already. Wouldn't make sense to make 3 games out of that just for some random action..oh god are they making an action series? **** no!

Since Shepard story ended already, no. Reason, connection issue, cheap DLC tactics, known bugs that never get fix but nerf my favorite gun that I have not unlock yet, still... still... still...

After seeing the awesome cinematic and launch trailer, I thought Mass Effect 3 is going to be a great game. However, after playing so many different profiles, paragon and renegade stuff and always actual new circumstances, I thought things might be different, but that was not the case. Things were just too similar and boring. Since Mass Effect 2, I personally have the impression that the story and whole game is more focused on Cerberus and not the Reapers. And honestly, if I had known, what Mass Effect 3 is about, I would never have bought the Collector's Edition, because it is not worth it. So if there is a Mass Effect 4 in the future, I'm in, but the normal version only. I loved the first one, still liked the second one, but the third game gives me headache every time I play it.

Yes. And I still dislike the ending they gave Shepard. Always will. That doesn't mean I'll shun Bioware. Looking forward to DLC, ME4, and DA3.

Now... don't get me wrong. I do not and will never endorse the ending of ME3.

Yea, Mass effect 3 may have ended badly, but the rest of it was awesome, Thus, Mass effect 4 is on my List, as is DA3, in light of how DA2 played out, I support Bioware, Because. They. Are. Awesome.
