I don't know anything about it yet. We don't even know if the next Me game will be ME4 or just some random game set in the ME Universe, we also don't know what genre of game it will be, will it be a rpg/tps hybrid like ME1 to ME3 or will it be a completley different genre alltogether ( RTS, FPS, MMO, sim, etc ). I think you're getting ahead of yourself if your going to comit yourself to buying the next ME game if you don't know anything about where Bioware are planning on taking the franchise.

True but I trust that bioware will make one and that it will be a good game. If you don't Raizo that is your call but some of us trust bioware that they will do the franchise right.

Well Bioware didn't exactly didn't exactly impress me with ME3, quite the opposite actually, I can't remember ever being more dissappointed by a game in my life. I hate almost everything about ME3.

Out of all the Bioware games I have ever played ( ME1, DA:O, DA: Awakenings, ME2, DA2, ME3 ) the only one that I thought was truly great was ME2. I am not in a posistion where I can automatically trust Bioware to deliver the goods since when I look back on thier gaming legacy all I see are is either mediocrity or great ideas that did not live up to 'thier' potential.

I'll definetly consider a 4th installment in the Mass Effect saga. Given that Bioware has hinted that we should keep our savegames from ME3 handy, ME4's universe will probably be shaped in some way by the choices made in ME1 through 3.

If ME4 is a prequel, no. Sequel, yes.

It depends. Most probably yes. Definitely yes if the story continues (my Shepard is alive after all ;)

This, this and this. But I think in the end... I'll buy it.

what exactly of "everything" you hate in ME3 Raizo?
Because if you cast away Catalyst's flawed logics, ME3 is best game in series. I just hope you judge game by many parametres, not by endings only.

Nah. As far as I'm concerned, the series died with the rushjob that was ME3 and that ridiculous ending. I'm done with ME.

Why does everyone assume that the only thing wrong with ME3 is the endings?

I don't know how to make this more clear, I really, really don't like ME3 at all. It's very difficult to explain why but there is just something about the way the game is structured that that just doesn't work for me at all, it feels to linear, storyline telling is poor, character interaction feels very poor ( I really, really hate the eavedrop dialogue system, I don't feel as if I am actually interacting with anyone ), I hate the planet scanning/Reaper evasion mini game ( it makes me miss ME2's boring, time consuming planet scanning and ME1 poorly designed planets and the sluggish Mako ), I hate the N7 missions, I hate half my squad, I spend most of the time thinking ME2 is better looking ( and smoother ) game, I hate how shallow and empty ME3's world seems, I hate how poorly my decisions from previous game was handled, I hate how scrpited Shepard is, I hate all the forced emotion, I hate how 1 dimensional the gameplay feels ( it feels like all I'm doing in ME3 is shooting stuff, In ME2 I felt like I was doing so much more than that even though I know it's not the case ). I could probably go on and on but this just the stuff that's coming up off the top of my head, There is just something about ME3 that I don't like, it no longer looks or fells like a ME game let alone an rpg and the whole entire thing just doesn't work for me at all. I have tried re-playing ME3 many times ( I have only beaten it once ) but I can never get past Sur'Kesh, the whole entire expereience feels like a massive chore and I get no sense or immersion or joy when I play ME3.

Nope.

In any meaningful sense, Single player gaming is dying fast, and will be pretty much dead by the time "ME4" (if) ever shows.  Co-op and multiplayer is the way of the future.  Everyone has to buy a copy if they wanna play.  Can't do either if you just lend the game to your buddy for the SP experience.

Money talks and bullsh!t walks and as far as EA is concerned SP is nothing but bullsh!t.

Mass Effect is dead - they shot it in the head in an attempt to put it down, and SP - especially from EA - is being bludgeoned to death as hard and as fast as they can.

I doubt ME4 will ever be anything more than talk, and if it does materialize at some future point the only thing it'll share with the franchise is the name.

Most likely. Unless it completely changes the formula, then it will be likely a day one buy for me. I love the Mass Effect universe, and want to explore more of it. There are things that would likely ruin it for me, but I am confident that Bioware will, for the most part do a good job. I doubt it will be quite as good as the Shepard Arc of the Mass Effect games however.

i am more concerned about frostbite for DA3. wanna see how it will go. And combat system of DA3.

However i enjoy ME3, it's combat, general gameplay and on top of that - i enjoyed to blast Reapers out of my ME3 universe.
So i doubt DA3 and ME4 would same as horrible as DA2, so i guess i will buy it.

Frostbite can only make it better. Name one frostbite powered game that doesn't look awesome. And considering the poor graphics complaints for DA2 were almost as much as the ending incident (for me it was the fact that it looked like alot of charecters looked like they were wearing T-shirt with armor painted on it, rather than actualy wearing armor...), people should be pretty ecstatic about the move to frostbite. With any luck ME4 will have frostbite 3.0 or whatever will be applicable at the time, it will make an awesome looking game even better.

Yes, regardless of the ending of ME3, i can never have enough mass effect universe. Hopefully from a different view than Alliance this time :)

Depends on how much they pay me for it.

jkjk xD I may, but as I went all-out making sure I got all DLC for me3 in the assumption that it would be the last one, I may not really go the extra mile with it.

Yeah I will buy Mass effect 4 if it looks good and is similar to what I liked about Mass effect.
But I will only buy it secondhand as Bioware doesn't deserve the cash.

So atleast you're outspoken about being a plant by a competing company... Also bethesda games maybe good, but they treat their fans pretty horribly. Their forums run in a way reminding a darker times. While Bioware allows, and even encourage criticism from their fans, bethesda dishes out bans to anyone posting anything other than "skyrim is the best game ever, and bethesda is the gaming company ever!". For now I will treat you in the way the people of thedas treat the qunari. Image IPB

Final fantasy changes heroes every couple of games, didn't bother square enix calling the last one FF13-II. Who exactly does it insult? Shepard? Or your opinion that without shepard there's no ME? It will be called ME4 because it will be an rpg set in the same universe; calling it any other name would be silly.

Hmm, a few months ago they showed screenshots from the abandoned Mass effect FPS. It looked pretty awesome considering it was made shortly after the first ME game. I wouldn't scold on ressurecting the idea, but only if it will have the option to play as 3rd person perspective. As narcisistic as it may be I just like looking at my charecter and their awesome gear.
