For me, it really depends on what they do with it, when they decide to set it, if there is a canoon ending ect.
But I wont be pre-ordering it, I'll wait for some reviews first and see.

My true to lore ME4 storyboard including a plot hole (can you find it?)
Harbinger assimilates the keepers into his reaper infrastructure to thwart the crucible , he also escapes through the mass relay just before the crucible fires, sheps body is found in the rubble by the illusive man (the one that died was a clever cerberus clone) who needs shep back to take the fight to harby and his minions, he employs the help of joker and miranda (who was resurrected by lazarus project if she died) to resurrect the lazarus project one more time. they recreate shep to once more unite the galaxy for the final showdown. kai leng (who was also resurrected by lazarus) kidnaps "sheps love interest" so shep has to do TIM's bidding, he doesn't want Harby dead, TIM wants the reaper alive so he can finally control him to further Yumanidy. but shep has other ideas. shep and Anderson (resurrected yes you guess it) hatch a cunning plan to deal with the final showdown.
WILL TIM GET WHAT HE WANTS?
WILL SHEP SAVE THE GALAXY IN A FINAL SHOWDOWN?
WILL SHEP SAVE HIS LOVE?
OR WILL HARBINGER HAVE THE FINAL LAUGH?
find out fall 2014

To be fair, if your choice at the end of ME3 creates 3 ENTIRELY SEPERATE stories and worlds within ME4, I might consider it. But given the quality of ME3 ending as well as thier response to the controversy, I can't see that happeneing.
Thats like saying BIO should have made an entire new normandy crew if no one survived the suicied mission on ME2. But they didn't and continued with Shepard living and depending on your choices at the last mssion, who survives the mssion and makes it to ME3.
to answer ur original question, yes. I will definately purchase ME4 regardless of the botched ending for ME3. terrible closure for Shepard, but I look forward to the next crew. BIO will either pick an ending for us OR a better idea would be to involve the community in a poll on which ending should the ME4 story continue from either a facebook poll or a forum poll.

I probably will be unless there is something drastically wrong with it since I thoroughly enjoyed ME3 and I didn't dislike the ending to ME3 and was only annoyed that the EC ending only added closure for the galaxy and not for the majority of characters.

I didn't get the memo telling me it was leaving.. last I heard, a massive-arrse DLC was dropping next month... and we've got new comics and anime on the way the month after that... they must still be in the house, innit?ManiacG wrote...
Mass effect is gone, whatever comes now will be a shadow of what used to be.

mass effect 3 was the most disappointing gaming experience of this generation, and biowares biggest failing, and since even the co-founders have esacped before the bioware brand has been completely exploited, means there is nothing standing in the way of EA's continuation of raping a once great RPG development company

Totally depends on Bioware at this point.

Ya'll do know that ME4 is going to be completely different story, right? Shepard's story is done and done.Bioware's already stated that ME3 was the end of Shepard's story.I'm one of those who hated the ending to ME3 too but what's done is done.Bioware isn't going to change anything so you might as well get over it.
I'll probably get ME4 but i'm not going to preorder and will wait for reviews before i pick it up.Still gonna be wary because EA is still involved.Depressing thought.

I'll be paying attention to what BW will allow the PC to do. If it's all run and gun then I'm out. If they reintegrate driving, hacking and enhance the rpg game mechanics instead of striping them out I'll be sorely tempted, but wary.

I have absolutely no intentions of buying it , and if by some miracle I do, it will be used.

Certainly wont per-order this time around. I can't see how they could realistically come up with anything to inspire die-hard fans, though that won't stop them trying. I might buy but would depend on pricing.
Personally would prefer them to release a totally new sci-fi series with engaging plot lines, characters and moving back towards more rpg less combat orientated game.

At this point a "yes" is as equally uninformed as a "no".

Then why do you waste your time on this board instead of talking about something you like?
