Can people stop making these threads. No offense Williams but there's been too many of these. I don't know if I'll get ME4 cause I don't even know what kind of game it will be, due to after Bioware finshes everything they have for ME3 they're done with Shepard, so I don't know.
To those who say ME3 was bad, companies recover after making a bad game and go on to make good ones

Really? Because it looks to me like they made a bad one (DA2), then another bad one (SWTOR), then one that was good, but then turned bad (ME3) and ruined the other good games that came before it (ME1 & 2), just for good measure.

I'll buy Mass Effect: Whatever's Next, whether it's a 4 or not.

ME3 isn't perfect (n fact it's the worst of the three) but it's still fun. the ending is fine and isn't even near BIO's worst endings. I'd rather another ME than a S:RPG or KOTOR that's for darn sure.

L0L Ending of KOTOR To be a Sith or not to be a Sith. DEEP!

I remember your name.

Not sure from where, though. Codex? NMA?

DA2 was a dissapointment, and SWTOR seems like a hit or miss (me personally I love it, but can't pay the $15 a month). And ME3 was good minus the ending and bugs. If you don't like Bioware anymore then why are you on the forums.

I've been here since before the BIo forums were even created. I am older than the Protheans. I'm more ancient than the Reapers. Hell, I look down on the creators of the reaopers and sigh as I proclaim,"Silly wasteful youth." AS i sit back in my trans galatic rocking chair.

I.

Probably not. Maybe when it's in the bargain bin. Bioware has made it clear they want their name under SOE on my do not buy list.

He accused me of being affiliated with some sort of Codex people in the other thread, so that must be it.

Codex: Aren't those some dog-version-of Downs Syndrome-ridden RPG yokels or something to that extent?

Yeah, I'm more invested in the backstory, races and universe than I am in Shepard. If they're still able to carry on after 3, or do a cool prequel, that's fine by me. I just want some more cool **** to rear its head, maybe give us a single game instalment, with a decent bad guy and meaningful choices that you get to see the full impact of by the end game. No trilogies, no tie in anime, just straight up videogame.

I'm sure they can do this, just look at Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age. Hell, Mass Effect 2 should have been the final part, and Mass Effect 3 should have been the middle in most main plot devices. Reapers should have arrived in 2, and the final mission of 3 should have been a suicide run for their only weak spot. It astounds me how the 2nd part of a trilogy was better than the final, for once. That never happens. Second parts are always boring.

Stop pretending that you don't know what the Codex is. heck, stop pretending you don't post there. You ain't fooling a soul.

Where is all this ME 4 talk from? Come on guys, you're talking about games as if they are being planned, that will never happen now with us player reaction to the current ME3's ending. . .

The only thing I can think BioWare can turn this mess around is if ME 4 is a small campaign with a major toolset to give everybody the ability to create their own ME modules, many of which will have 'the real ending of ME 3'.

That is the only way I would buy ME 4. Give me the ability to develop for it. ME is a big universe, so give us creative people the ability to tell stories with it!

1. If ME4 is the story BEFORE ME3, then why should I buy it? They all f*** up in the end of color poop.

2. If ME4 is the story AFTER ME3, then why should I buy it? I do not wish to play in single town, Kirkwall, like DA2.

To get an apology and force some accountability out of the company maybe? Although I'm probably more likely to be struck by lightning it seems. Look, it's because we used to love them. It's hard to understand why they would sh!t all over their own franchise like this. We want answers. We want honesty.

not a chance, ME4 would be a total cash crab to show how stupid people are.
the ending of ME3 was the end of a dynasty. No DLC or attempt at continuing mass effect can fix what has already been done.
Mass effect ended the day Drew Karpyshyn left, along with his story, the story I invested in.

I see.

If I recall correctly I was looking for a patch to Arcanum or something, I googled it, and found someone on RPG-codex or codex-rpg-forums or something that mentioned where one could get the (community) patch for the game. I've never looked at it again, but it seemed to me they were more like 4chan type of people, not really my cup o' tea.

I am more inclined to lurk or post at SomethingAwful myself.

Its impossible for there to be any kind of sequel and besides It has been stated innumerable times by the mass effect team that there are no plans for a mass effect 4.

And you believe what they tell you? Hahahaha

EDIT:
My point being they have stated quite a numerable amount of other things that din't really happen at all.
That your choices would matter for example.

Imma be like the black sheep here and say I would actually buy it. On certain conditions though. Bioware would definitely have to woo me over big time. Plus the story would have to make some freaking sense.

People are forgetting that Bioware has plans to CONTINUE the mass effect series. Even games w/o shepard in the future. I'd buy em. Im not letting the last 15mins of over 500+ hours Ive invested into this series sour my memories and overall experience. Sure I would have like the more closure to what we got, but I still love the series with a passion.

I wouldn't like to make a baseless prediction, so I won't answer such a ludicrous question.
