While I admire Bioware for their intake of fan feedback and then implementing that into a DLC to provide closure to the story, I fear that it may just be too little too late. I think that originally (when everyone literally was sitting through the ending) the major problem with the ending was a lack of closure to the story, but since it's been nearly a month since it was released the whole sequence has been picked to pieces for inconsistancies and plotholes. I think that had this been in the game to start with - even though people might have still had a bitter resentment towards the way the ending came about - it would have "solved" the backlash that has been going on for the past month. By putting it in now, albeit a very large step in the right direction - which I applaud Bioware for doing - I'm worried that too much tension has boiled up for this to satisfy fans of the series. I could be completely wrong (in more ways tha one with what I've said), but let me know what you guys think.
P.S. Remaining hopeful for this DLC, and I can't really say what it will or won't achieve until they release it.
Thanks guys at Bioware for listening to us fans!

Also to add, I think that apart from story inconsistencies the largest issue with the endings (as per release) is the lack of implementing any choices made through the game into the final outcome - so maybe this can be well rectified by what they are planning.
