As of now, no. I'm just not interested anymore. The whole game was soured for me due to the poor handling of this situation.
When a developer doesn't speak out against those who are bashing their fans, I think that's the point where I throw in the towel..
Will you be downloading the "Extended cut?"

I'll download and play it. Its performance effects my future bioware DLC purchases.

I'll download and play, but I won't be buying Bioware games in the future (I don't play a lot of games anyway, but Baldurs Gate and Kotor I loved).

Yeah, I'll be getting it, but with an expectation level of "how much worse could it possibly get?" rather than my previous "Yay, new Bioware content, this will rock". That one, sadly, is not one I expect to ever experience again.
And I'm still not trusting them to be able to write a shopping list for a boiled egg, let alone a coherent ending to a game.
But I do appreciate the gesture, just not sure this skittles-themed spacemagic junk can be salvaged, even if we get to see what happens after we doom civilization.

Of course I'll be downloading it.
Then I'll be completely reevaluating my relationship with BioWare as a consumer.

I kind of agree. I honestly don't see how they're going to "explain" their way out of the hole they dug for themselves. That said though... Bioware's understands that as bad as things have been, to "address" the ending without improving upon at least the basic things everyone agrees are problems would be MUCH worse. I'm confident this will make things at least somewhat better.
Do I think we'll be "happy" with it? Probably not. Sadly, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that a choice-based trilogy was always doomed to end this way.
