There is no downside to this really. It costs nothing, adds clarification, and could possible fix the ending that so many people seem to have a problem with. I actually liked the ending but obviously people didnt and they did something about it. FOR FREE! so what if they didnt completely change it get over it its not going to happen. No other company in the world would do something like this so could all the people bashing them for doing something that is unheard of at least reserve judgement until it is released. Or until then get off the forums and take your games back or throw them in the trash. Its not going to happen so just let it go you are just wasting your keyboards vitality. They are not doing any other dlc until this is released which means no extra gameplay no extra multiplayer nothing. And they are doing it for you. How about some gratitude for once on this god forsaken website.

Thank you for the free DLC that we had to beg and plead for and still managed to ****** off a lot of people.

No because you can't please crybaby ****es... A lot of them are all like waaaah waaah waaaah we want bioware to completely redo the ending. WAAAAH. I'm pretty ashamed to be associated with that group of radicals, as that was never the focus of Retake.

I appreciate the offer from Bioware and look forward to seeing it.

However I'm being cautious as this may not fix my issues with the ending and still doesn't fulfil some of Biowares prerelease promises etc.

Good on Bioware making the DLC free. What remains to be seen is whether it's a complete waste of time or not.

Thanks for giving me free fixing DLC almost HALF A YEAR after I payed full price for this game, how very nice of you.

Thanks for selling a game that doesn't live up to your advertisement and promises even with said DLC.

Thanks for not even slightly listening to your customers complaints.

You simply do not even try to see the other side, and because of that I refuse to provide you an explanation to your thread. You are free to have your opinion, but your ignorance is just insulting.

Free turd polish doesn't change the fact that it's expected to be used on a turd.

Since they wont talk about it or say anything more than the little we know, no, no I'm not thankful.
Until I see it, how could I be?

if it sucks, there's no reason to be grateful for another punch to the gut

Yeah, that's what I don't get, it seemed like everyone in the Retake movement wanted something a little different, but the overall message was "Do something".  Now all of a sudden it's a completely plot-altering brand new ending or bust.  Well they're doing something, and I sincerely hope that you guys get something good out of it.

I was pissed at first after reading there announcement today, but now that I have had a chance to cool off a bit and reflect, I've come to the realization that I have trusted Bioware for about 10-15 years now and I need to give them the benefit of the doubt this once. I have faith that they will fix it, especially after reading some of Merizan's tweets.

I would much rather pay for a dlc that actually makes my choices matter and gets rid of plot holes.

It's a nice gesture that it's for free, but I'm not thankful they're standing behind their failure. I really don't think more explanation will fix anything. I'll give it a shot, but I have low expectations. And if it doesn't make an impact, it was nice visiting the ME universe for a while. I'll be done.
