adding fluff to these terrible endings still leaves us a terrible ending.
I wont complain about this but I certainly wont thank bioware for this half assed insincere gesture.

Its a compromise.
While I contemplated this fact, and prepared myself for this, alot of other people where getting their hopes up with ridiculous theories, just to be crushed by reality.

I would have been willing to pay $10 to $15 for another ending. Whether it's free or not, it makes no difference to me. What I wanted was another ending that didn't have a starchild AI telling me a bunch of BS, and no plotholes. Although I'm skeptical of how satisfying this extended ending will be, I still remain a bit hopeful that they might fix the plotholes.

Yeah, you probably ought to change that banner of yours. That was practically a cut-and-paste post from a typical pro-ender there. Just edit in a line about artistic integrity and you're done. Oh, and entitlement.

my point exactly, regardless of what rabbit they pull out of any magical hat people wont like it. so why do they continue to waste their time on the forums. i have issues with mass effect 3 mainly the decline in interactive dialogue and lack of character development but thats in comparison to mass effect 2. sometimes the 2nd is better than the 3rd but that doesnt mean it sucks ending included. they did something about it just for us and people still have something negative to say about it. at least wait until the release it and give it a chance.

not really, have you seen people complaining about how they handle dragon age origin's ending? no, right?
so why can't they follow the same model for ME3?

What because I'm not being a whiny little **** like the rest of you guys? THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING. You do realize they could have told us all to **** off and that would have been that. The Retake movement was NEVER about getting the goddamned endings changed. Everyone that joined the first few days all asked for one thing, CLARITY. Now that they're giving us that, you guys **** about wanting new endings.
