I'm thankful just to have a solid answer and I look forward to seeing what they come up with.

Thankful for something that should have already been on the disc day 1?  Ummm no.   They came up with ending so unclear and full of plot holes that a lot of us look at the last 2 games as a waste of time.  The ending was flatout broken. I'm calling this dlc a patch.  With no additional character dialog and just a few moments of animation (maybe) and text I can't see how this will "fix" the endings.

THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING.

Something that sucks.

You do realize they could have told us all to **** off and that would have been that.

At least that would have been an honest answer...

What  because I'm not being a whiny little **** like the rest of you guys? THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING. You do realize they could have told us all to **** off and that would have been that. The Retake movement was NEVER about getting the goddamned endings changed. Everyone that joined the first few days all asked for one thing, CLARITY. Now that they're giving us that, you guys **** about wanting new endings.

Yeah I mean it's a chance for, as your banner says "a better ending".  Still might not be, of course, but we can't know that until it actually comes out and we see what they do.

There was a free DLC or two for ME2, didn't mean it was worth downloading.

Honestly though I'd rather pay them and them do it right. This free DLC just seems like a band-aid fix that doesn't really fix anything. They're not adding new endings, or changing the endings.

Personally.  I am thankful for it.

I think at this point everyone needs to stow their rage until it actually releases.

The die is cast at this point and nothing is going to change that.  It does remain to be seen how much of clarification is actually clarifying and how much actually most people would consider a change.

Without actually seeing what happens I don't believe any of us are in a position to make an informed decision about what happens.

Now am I pessemistic that it would necessarily be a broad enough clarification to satisfy.  Probably yes.  But at this point there is no action remaining but to wait for the release.

I didn't know they were letting people beta test it.  Gotta watch those spoilers, dude.

How can I be thankfull about something that doesn't even exist yet?

That would be like getting my hopes up about an ucomming game that is part of a trilogy that I really got into, and based on alot of promises made by the developpers concerning how awesome it was gonna be.

No, I would never do that.

Nope. A hot steamy pile of freshly produced manure.

It wasn't what most people were asking for, despite Bioware claiming repeatedly that they were "listening".

It's pretty difficult to be thankful of an insult.

They specifically said they weren't, already. Unless they decide to change their mind.

They're adding "clarification" to the current endings. As in, trying to fill in plot holes, and potentially expanding on the ending.

They're adding new cutscenes and epilogues, according to the FAQ they posted.  That's "changing".

I'll be thankful if there is something in it I actually care about; otherwise I will be indifferent. Until I know either way, I will express only mild curiosity.

As others have said it IS better than nothing, but still not. The 'radically different' endings that we were originally promised. I realise now that the endings will never truly satisfy me, but i will still complain for not receiving the product they promised me. People ar e still complaining because they wanted an ending where they could say their choices mattered. They didnt.

I'm thankful for the fact that it's free but I'm not completely satisfied, now before you start complaining about how we are all whiners hear me out.

I don't want clarification to the ending, and I don't think I'm alone here, the ending is trash no matter how you spin it. It breaks all the groundwork set out from the first two games and feels completely out of place. I really doubt 'clarification' will fix what is broken beyond repair. They need to completely re-do it but hey apparently 'artistic integrity' is more important then something that makes ****ing sense. What also sucks is that they said they were listening yet what we've been fighting for was a better ending, more specifically a NEW one not a continuation of the pile of garbage we were given.

I'm all for them sorting the ****-storm they've stirred up but I really don't want to get my hopes up only to be shot down again. Please for the love of god Bioware don't screw this up because if you do the backlash will be much worse than before and your reputation (or at least what is left of it) will be non-existent.

Thanks Bioware, for finishing the game 4 months after it was released, and releasing it as free DLC.
