Much has been hashed and argued.

My simple response is when a company that wants to make money. Money being the bottem line then Artistic Integrity in this case means
brankrupt. 

I know
lots of starving artists with loads of intergity.

Funny thing though; none
of them "INVITE" their audience to paint the picture/Story with them.

(aside from some very avant-guard groups who love feedback infact they they thrive on it.)

But if they do INVITE the audience to help paint the picture and tell the story they should not be shocked when those participants also have a concept or personal Artistic Integrity.
