I want to start again from the very start i want to play mass effect reading all the comic stuff playing the apps etc inbetween but i can't.  I can't do it.  I don't understand the ending.  Let me explain

Mass Effect as a story you are given the boundries THIS will happen when you get HERE or THAT will happen when you get HERE and your end result will be either THIS or THAT but how you get to these points is upto you the player, its your story you decide. 

Think of it as an adventure book the endings are pre-determined if you chose this turn to page 10 i as the reader cannot change the hero's destiny only the path to the end result.  But here is my problem...

artistic vision for the end of this arc 

ME3 has no clearcut good/bad ending unlike the other 2.  no reason to play again doing the opposite to what you did before so please can you explain the ending so i can start my new game?
