Is there any place on the internet where I can buy this game at a reasonable price and be able to play it immediatly? D2D has it for 30 or 40 bucks and gogamer has it for about 25 (but not available for download). I was under the impression that this game was pretty old, figured I could get a copy for maybe 10-15 bucks, but geez...

It's about 2 years old. I don't know that many places carrying NWN2, actually.

If you want advice on where to buy something then telling us which country you're in would help.

If you want "immediately" as in download to disk straightaway, I'm not sure about that. If you're in the US and willing to wait, though, just go to Amazon.com and buy a new copy for about $8 in total (inclusive of shipping). Best suggestion I can think of at the moment.

Don't buy it..it's a pale imitation of NWN 1
This was hailed as the successor to NWN before it came out, but it failed miserably I am sorry to say.
Having played Nwn 1 online in many Persistant Worlds I can only say seek out NWN 1 and install it. There are many good Persistant Worlds still available online........
You won't be sorry......Dragon Age or NWN2 will never be Nwn 1.
NWN1 = the Win

Personally the single character and no party control puts me off on NWN1. Haven't ever heard of persistent worlds though. Guessing it's modstuff.
I was looking for NWN2 myself (hoping it is simular to BG2/DAO), that is with a party, party interaction (how much I like making a unique party, I do miss the banter) and a nice enough story.
Don't really know though how it compares to both other mentioned games..
However you can download it at atari (guess BW didnt make the game) for 30 dollars. This is including the first expansion. Haven't tried it though and not sure how that translates to Europe.
