4 banshees 2 brutes on silver?

Are you saying 2 banshees out at the same time or 4?

It's not unusual to get as many as 8 banshees through an entire wave, but I've never had more than 2 at the same time.(silver)

Yeah, just finished a silver match, i have to agree. They've definitely buffed AI on Silver/Gold. Faced 4 Banshees, 2 Brutes and 2 Ravagers who tore through my team like a hot knife through butter. It's going to be mighty frustrating to play on Silver/Gold from now on. They really didn't have to buff them up. If they're going to do this, they might as well increase credits and exp payout.

There are counters to phantoms there are no real counters to banshees. The reaper missions are generally too hard on Silver.

When did they buff it anyway? I know it was a ninja change but do we know when it started? I remember a couple days ago thinking a match was a little over the top on silver. Facing reapers and we got a hacking objective on wave 10. Yeah, that's never cool, but this was just insane. I used 4 rockets, each taking out at least a banshee and a brute if not 2 banshees (plus marauders and the like that aren't a big deal of course). And that was just me, rest of the team wasn't slacking. We completed the hack with 2 seconds left on the timer. I don't see how it would have been even possible to do if we didn't burn through a dump truck full of expendables. And that's only medium difficulty?!

they would also have to rebuff ALOT of weapons if theyre going to change the AI , hence why alot of the weapons were dumbed down (references to the falcon)  some being virtually useless for their weight class when you could pick a lighter weapon that performed about the same.

well i know my friend who plays vangaurd noticed it when the operation was to take out brutes , saw how overall reapers got more crazy and brutes execution rate went up as well .

ya, after quite a few games, it seems biotics now suck against Cerberus what with their dodge rate being hiked up so much (phantoms simply laugh at you), infiltrators now blow against the final waves of geth since Primes just turn around and melt your face off while cloaked and Vanguards are essentially a trash class against high end reaper waves as charging anything will get you butchered outside of cannibals.

Essentially, with AI being buffed, all I saw for gold today was firebase white/Geth where everyone camps the bottom cover and grinds down waves while an infiltrator mops up objectives.. So all they've done is made cheap and boring map exploits the norm now. Disappointing :/

Whew, it's not just me. Geth Gold (anywhere, not just bs farming of white) has become easier than Reaper Silver. And I'm out of Medi-Gel. Frigging Premium Spectre Packs, pfffft.

You have 8 rockets on sliver. If each of you bring 2's and saves them for wave 10. Sadly because i am usually the one using rockets and ops packs to avoid a down my supplies are running low....

People who don't use rockets on sliver or gold don't deserve to play on that level. If you see 2 banshees get your rocket out and use it and tell your team the next 2 are on them. Its very unfair when one player uses 2 rockets and the other 3 team members uses none.

I've played a dozen random silvers since Monday. There's been no stealth buff.

The brute numbers have rebounded to what they were previous to Operation: Kill Brutes.

Ahh... it seems you misinterpreted my implied causality:
What I meant: increased difficulty causes more people to flake or leech for credits because they don't want to put in the effort.
What it might have sounded like: increased difficulty is merely a matter of perception as a result of aforementioned quitters/leechers.
Obviously I believe that the buffs are real.


I see and i totally agree but i felt bad for some less skilled players ive made friends with on live today. We were trying silver and they were getting smoked i was reviving non-stop, thats when i decided to post this. It was a pure adrenaline rush for me but for them they were upset and confounded.

I am not selfish, i am completely out of rockets for trying to win every match. With no equipment packs theres little chance to get some, wish i could...at the same time i wish i could trade in these 341 thermal clips i have.

This might be shocking... I know but you guys might not be aware that...

Until you complete the objectives, no matter how many enemies you kill, more will spawn. That means banshees, brutes, ravagers and all other crap until this station is hacked, targets eliminated or points taken.

I saw 3 out at the same time for the first time tonight, and when one was killed, one literally spawned where the last one died. its like they doubled the mob rate per wave.

Well, try going infiltrator with Javelin//BW//Widow and use those thermal clips for unending fire. Also switch to gold since 1 match gives enough credits for 1 spectre pack and 2 recruits which is like 7 medigels total. Of course you won't use medigels and rockets if you ran out, stick to the team and they will ress you.

Oh good, The Judge has spoken. We can stop the discussion now, there has clearly been no change and we're only experiencing a crapload of phantoms and banshees because brutes are back.

Late waves in silver have always had about 4 Banshees...

Of course, they're not normally around at the same time... They usually just come in pairs.

But hey, as long as they're all within rocket aoe distance of each other, I'm cool with it.

Seriously, revert the enemy AI stealth buff. Nothing good will come from this.

most of the time it isd becuase of some idiot want to camp a bit mroe in front to grab points. This makes stuff pop up behind the group

 I think the buff is awesome. Playing a salarian infiltrator was too easy. 
I like that they can now track you better when I am cloaked. I can track a phantom while they are cloaked so why cant the enemy track me while I am cloaked. Geth primes can track your cloak, its awesome. You know how easy Primes go down to cloaked infiltrators with Widow X? 3 shots. Thats it. On gold.

Widow X, armour piercing 5, extended barrel 5, SI built for max damage and I can take a Prime down on gold, 3 shots and 1 maxd energy drain.

If silver is too hard, why not try bronze? No harm in that.

I think they should make a platinum level.

its fun on hacking wave 10 when you got to hack in a spawn point with that little lot there but cobra's are your best friend then I have 1 left now after using all mine so if i'm in silver/gold i'll be blowing stuff up with BE till i get more still works if you have no rockets and a decent AA or human sent that can cause blue explosions of death =D

Believe it or not, some people don't play one of the most powerful setups with one of the most sought after rare guns maxed out.  I know, it's a shocker right?
